Eeeep! Yah - had my tailor Aesa out trying the new skirt, and the reaction was"Oh.... Oh my goodness....." It takes roughly 6 identical pieces of synthetic cloth to make - WHERE exactly all that cloth goes, I dunno **spreads hands**

My advice to shoppers so far has beendon't sit down (amongst other things)!!! **laughs**

"Clipping" is referring to how the character model pokesthrough the material of the skirt when we move, rather than the skirt moving along accuratelywith (and staying on top of)the character model.

I like the skirts even with thier problems and I'll continute to wear them after the fad is over (I had 4 within 10 minutes of logging on about an hour after server went up patch day ). I portray myself as an exotic dancer, and use a number of different devices to accomplish this. Including a holo emote macro that does either butterfly or blossom every minute (then stops dancing and opens a ID session to recharge every 20 mins), and other rare and exotic clothing (example NS bicep and NS energy lance) as well as doing exotic3 vice exotic4 (which it seems most other masters like to do, that and it looks better with a polearm). I also wear rather revealing clothing, my staple pre pub-11 was the exotic leotard, now I switch between those and the skirt. The exotic/revealing clothing coupled with a rather conservative hairstyle and makeup makes for a rather stunning look. Add on top of that the effects from the energy lances and the holo emotes and its quite a stunning (or should I say shocking) show.

Yeah skirts can look bad, so can leotards, but with the right accessories doing an approprate dance, you can turn slutty into exotic

Very true indeed - some clothing combinations can look really fantastic with certain dances. But you would think they would have fixed the clipping issue for the skirt well before they released it - I mean, they might as well just give us fig leaves if they want us to run around with everything "hanging out" so to speak. I remember back when the Grand Healer's Robe was suffering clipping problems, and lets just say as a performer the advice was do not bend over...... **laughs**

I haven't worn anything but the skirts since they came out. I've been waiting for these slave skirts for a very long time, being a tailor AND a twi'lek who was once a slave. I don't wear them because they're new and cool and everyone has one and I have to be like all the cool kids. I wear them because I think they're pretty, even with all the clipping and superglue issues.

I'm not a sheep. Never have been.

I am glad I am not the only one that thinks they are pretty, clipping issues and all.

I love the way they sort of make your tummy look...very feminine and sensual I think.

I think that sexah tum tum makes it worth while for me...one reason I would love to have those hip huggers.

Yup, it's the tummy for me too. Ava used to be a skinny minnie, but when these skirts came out I logged in and saw Fuschia's wife dancing in our cantina wearing one. Her weight is set to about half, so she's really curvy... she looked AMAZING. I made her log her image designer alt on right then and there to feed me sammiches.

First it was the Fleshwrap, last year,

Then, as that Jabba Loot Shematic came out, the Leotard,

now its the Revealing skirt.

Lets see, what the Hutt-Casino brings us... (Hope..Hope..Hope)

I have one and use it, for the right Dance. But it only fits for Exotic, wich i dont dance all the time,

I love the new poplock-Moves, they look Stunning with a Dagger, and for Poplock i use Infiltrator

leggins. That "as-good-as-naked"-Stuff only really works forExotic, and i laugh out to all those

wearing the thing at starport, at Hunts, everywhere, just because they think, their Avatar looks

more alluringin it.

Continual "near-nakedness" gets boring quick, for onlookers. But if you wear mostly closed stuff,

or more "normal" outfits, the occasional Dance in something more revealing has aMUCH

better effect.

Ok I can agree with this. My normal (well Pre-JTL) out on the town outfit was a completely concealing Robe of Honor in whatever color I was currently in the mood for.
