Thread: Update about the Entertainer Quest! It's coming next week!

My vote is for scary. I'm just glad to know what the hell's going on with the Quest.
If the Devs know what's good for 'em, they will NOT implement another broken dance.
If I were NewJedi and Panthu, I would be MAJORLY PISSED OFF after hearing that some forum n00b (sorry again, Ooko lol)got a reponse with info regarding the Quest, yet they've been left in the dark all this time.
I mean, I would be RELENTLESS on those Correspondent forums.

It's all good, it's true I'm a forum n00b.
To tell you the truth, I have no idea why responded to me, except that I used that BS Subject line of "Jedi Exploit" which means it actually made them read it.
I think that's really depressing.
I certainly don't think I deserve to know more about what's going on than Panthu or NewJedi, who the hell am I?

That's the point, Pappi. The correspondents can't even get communication from the devs, not even a one-liner like this gentleman got in his PM. The only way is to trick the devs into reading what you're writing by saying it's Jedi related. See the problem?
G may be a nice guy, but he has his Jedi blinders on just like the rest of the team. Perhaps when the only folks left playing are Jedi they'll sit up, take notice and say, "Hey, anyone know where the rest of the population went off to?"
I think Panthu is trying really hard to doing a great job, but the reality is that she's been marginalized just like the rest of us.

Pappi, when did you trythe dance on TC last? I know about a week ago you and Panthu performed it, but it was still broken then.
Sigh . . . everyone will forgive me if I don't hold my breath on this working out right . . .

Ummm, am I missing something with all this? Haven't they said that this was coming in 10.2 for a while now? Aren't we only on 10.1 now with 10.2 due out in a week or two anyway? Wasn't Village Phase I Release 10.0, and Village Phase II 10.1? (I know there are messages on some of the load screens that say we're in a higher release, but I've been under the impression that those messages are incorrect.)

I would hope this would deserve some investigation.
The Devs just trivialized Correspondents completely. That's a pity.
Who the hell am I that I deserve to know about this? It's a good thing I READ the Feedback thread for the Entertainer Quest, or else I wouldn't have known how badly you guys needed word on this Quest.
If it'd been someone a little more newbish, you might never have heard anything. Who else with about 25 posts would come back and report this? I mean, really...I just lucked out by reading your Entertainer Quest Feedback...which was so frustrating to me that I did that PM...and fooled them into reading it.
Again, what a pity.
I'm sorry, but I have little to no faith in the Correspondent system if that's how the Devs are. That's stupid. I thought Panthu was our "go-between" for info from the Devs? Apparently it's any random newbie who sends a deceptive PM to a Dev who's the "go-between."

we are currently living in 10.4
check out the "In Live" forum and you'll see the feedback thread for problems with the 10.4 publish.

Are we really? Aren't we only about 5 weeks into Publish 10? Isn't it usually 2-3 weeks between updates? What in the heck have they been updating?? The only things I've noticed are slight Jedi and BH tweaks, and I thought most of those were hot fixes. Sheesh - even a minor release used to have several changes in it that affected several professions, game issues, or fixed various bugs at least most of the time so you noticed when they happened. I thought 10.4 was what Test Center was on, but if that's what LIVE is on, then I'm very disappointed!

Not completely true. Igot a fewanswers. I didn't like them... and I was told to have all of my statements on the matter approved before posting them publicly. *shrug*

um, TC was down since yesterday, and I'm not home right now, but I think the last time I tried it was when you were there... whenever it was, it was still broken. I don't think you should hold your breath either
as for the jedi thing... I donno. sometimes they don't say anything; sometimes they tell us things that we can't repeat to our forums. unfortunate, but nothing much we can do about it on our end
I don't think we can get much more annoying *ahem* assertive without being driven (even more) insane.
