As a non-dancer, I absolutely agree that dancer/musician buffs should be improved.


Doctors serve many roles: they heal, buff, heal wounds, resurrect, and craft medicines. They are a crafting class, a buffing class, a combat support class, and a post-battle recuperation class. They have a multitude of income opportunities and are welcome in combat groups now that everyone needs a resser.


Dancers and musicians have a much more limited role. Although they have many opportunities for creative and funrole-playing, their game-mechanic role is limited to mind/fatigue wound healing and limited buffing.


Doctors can buff 6 stats. Musicians buff 2 and dancers can buff only 1.


Doctors can buff a stat every 30 seconds. Musicians and dancers take 5-12 minutes to buff a stat (depending on who you ask) and are hampered by a kludgy interface that makes it difficult to "buff for a living"


Doctors have to craft their buff medicines, however this also allows many doctors to run a profitable business crafting and selling high quality stims. Musicians and dancers do not have to craft to buff, however they also do not gain the ability to sell their wares (recordings?). The entire income of a Musician or Dancer is based on the kindness of friends and strangers.


I could probably continue this list for hours. The point is, all three classes are necessary support classes. But there is no logical reason to not improve the current implementation of musician and dancer buffs.

Not all professions are created equal. It was never intended to be so, and it is not.

btw since our buff double the value of mind pool, it has no pre-set limit which meant our buff is a much much better buff than doctor's. think about it, if the customer ate a couple of breath of heaven and chuck some muon, powerboost(if you are tka) just before you /stopdance, the result buff will raise the customer's mind pool around 7kish(if powerboost) or 5kish(no powerboost), therefore our buff is much better since we can buff for much higher value, require less maintaince to apply buff(no pack).


you can personaly buy couple crate of breath of heaven/muon give it to the customer and tell them to eat it around 8min, then you should able to buff more, of course the same concept works for musician but that's another story
