Who's to say that some race doesn't have a style very similar to breakdance?
Pretty much all the dances resemble some style. Lyrical is... well.. lyrical. (A form of jazz dance.) Poplock is a combination of popping and locking. (Sort of.) Exotics are a middle-east inspired dance. (Belly dance.) If you're going to make the argument that breakdance shouldn't be in game, you'll need to make the same argument for those other dances. And what does that leave you with for dances?
Sure they could have picked more star-warsy games.. Like calling Footloose the ewok, or calling breakdance the coruscant club dance... But the names would start to get unreasonably long. Instead they use something people playing can relate to that sort of describes the dance.

lol...I don't know why...this show seems really dumb to me, but every time I turn it on, I can NOT stop watching. I always liked watching people dancing. I suppose that's part of why I can just sit all day watching my toon dance. haha
Sometimes in the Cantinas, I'll say something like "Dance 3 6 0" and nobody responds so I assume nobody's heard of it. Glad somebody knows what I'm talking about. /hi 5
I even thought about doing a Dance 360 contest on Kett. They could win 360 credits, yo. And, ya know, with the new starwars4 and breakdance my wildest dreams can come true. LOL
