Flechette I'm with you. I hardly wear my more revealing clothes now. I'd much prefer my slip dress or one of my gowns, or even my pantaloons with a cute top (that's a nice outfit). But I did it at first so people would notice me. I was one of the first in my cantina to have a flesh wrap so I was noticed. and I was the first with a grand head piece and that really got me noticed. Now I also have people willing to travel when I'm not in town (very rarely).

Though I just got master dance and a friend had just gifted me with a white fleshwrap so i threw that on with my grand head piece and did my first master dance *grin* I looked GREAT *laugh*

Ok, for roleplaying, if i'm going into a 'cantina' to roleplay then i expect to see half naked dancers. If i want to see well dressed ballerina's i'll go to the theater or some player made cantina's. Picture this, from an rp perspective, you've just spent the last god knows how many hours on Danthomir. You've been shot, stabbed, punched, kicked, chewed, stepped on, killed a couple times and killed many...now, you want to get your mind off of these things for a while.

You're beyond sick of battle and want to sit back with a drink, a cigarette and watch some fiiiine looking ladies light the cantina on fire. In comes the posh princess who frowns on women wearing skimpy clothing and wears her great ball gown and is twirling in a ballet like dance in the middle of the floor. Ok...nice, but no. Understand, in an rp sense, people need fun lively loud heated entertainment to get there minds out of the constant fighting. It's called a form of "Shell shock". And entertainers help that by being just that.

I'm not going to go to a ballet production of "the white swan" when i'm with friends and i want to have fun and be wild and enjoy myself. I'm going to hit a club. This is what people want. So please, enough with the "I'm holyer then thou" attitude already. Let people enjoy whatever they want to. If it bothers you, start your own player cantina and invite people to watch your ballet performance.

anAlso you need to realize that for a lot of people, this is their first MMORPG, and even for those who it isn't, people play the game the way they think it should be played, and they want others to play the same way. Some people just won't realize that not everyone has the same point of view. Thats part of what makes MMORPGs so much fun

I play my character as a mis-guided 18 year old human who was kicked out of her home. She is slightly modest (doesn't wear wraps and exotic leotards) but has a sharp tongue and sometimes spouts off and get herself in situations she can't handle. Right now I have her wearing bright coloured clothing combinations that one of her customers dubbed the "80's ghetto girl" look. Another asked her if she was staring in "Star Wars Episode VII: Flashdance". She is usually in a sports wrap or a sports bra with brightly coloured camo pants to the point of being almost gaudy (depending on who you ask). She's even turned down "shacking up" with a musician in a shared house (starting a PA that was the "family"). I have lots of fun RP'ing her.

This game needs more clothing options and hats! There are like 5 hats total that arn't armour. We need more options! The men definetly need help with clothing. We need "Queer Eye for the SWG guy" show to getour male dancers/musicians some clothes!

This game is about sexuality by the way. Just look at the movies. You had Luke and Leia (brother/sister) romantically kissing, Darth ordering Leia's death (Father/Daughter), and several other situations (like Leia as Jabba's slave in that skimpy outfit). We need to accept it's place in SWG and incorporate it.
