Just an FYIMaster Doctors don't make as much profit as you think from buffing. Those buff packs that give the high level, 3+ hour buff packs can cost several hundred thousandin resources (I know one MD that paid 1 million credits for her high end resources). MD's make a lot of money yes but it's not net profit. Take a look at what they are paying for resources on your server and then look at what they can charge for a single buff. On my server they are currently paying nearly 200CPU for top quality Avian meat and that's just for the avian meat. They can charge 10 - 15K for buffs IF their buffs are above 2600 per stat and last 3.5 hours.

Some players are always going to want something for nothing. You can try to educate them and hope they "get it" but chances are if they really are asking for a free buff they aren't going to understand. I suggest asking them how much the mind buff is going to help them. After all, they gota CDEF pistol for free when they first started. Are they still using it or are they paying more money for better weapons because it gives them an edge? If they want an edge on their opponents then they need to pay some amount to get that edge. (I found it helps to tell them that entertainer missions only pay 100 credits. many new players have no idea it's that low)

I personally don't have a set fee because I know that there are some players who have millions of credits and others who are lucky to be able to by a ticket at a starport. I want to be able to help each one equally so I try to just ask for tips. If someone is being a jerk then I'll provide them with a set fee that's scaled to their "jerk factor".
