Thread: Something I did today
That's a really good way of making your policy clear Calyndra, nice one ![]()
I pretty much agree with you really, and those that dance in the middle of the floor annoys me lots more than those who do it in a side room. At least they are being considerate to those of us at the keyboard ![]()

if you REALLY want to stick it to an AFKer, do this-
1. get a mouse droid. name it (Don't-TipAFKer), or somesuch. tell your little friend to /follow the AFKer.
2. try to invite the AFKer to your group. many of them use macros that include /join, just in case they get invited. if they join you, also invite your little mouse droid to your group.
3. /makeleader your mouse droid, and then leave those two to spend some quality time together ![]()
don't be afraid to use more creative/funny names, like (KickMe-I'mAFK) or something. the funnier it is, the better. your little droid will continue to follow them around like a little boxy metallic scarlet 'A' ![]()

I love it!!!When IAFK macro I do it in the back room.
Then again I also spend about 10 hours or so in the cantina when I'm on.. so *shrugs*
The only problem with Darrk's suggestion.... I'd have to get 15 or so of the little buggers to handle all of the AFKers in the Theed cantina on Bloodfin, oh and we've got a new one tonight...
Rebel who got his holocron and is dancing with a ST helmet who's spamming... don't need tips, dancing for my holocron, just heal me.. thanks.
GRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Needless to say ALL of the entertainers who aren't AFK... have him on ignore now.
Am'ava
It's actually quite easy for me. Because I play may entertainer now for over 2 months and I usually hang out in the same cantina (coronet, eclipse) I am well known there. So if I see someone who is afk and who uses a spam macro, I ask for leader (, get it because people know me) and kick the bad guy.
my policy is simple. afk macro spammer get kicked immediatly. people who are afk all the time also get kicked. if the band is full afk performer goes first.

I actually give them about 10 minutes or less then kick them from the group. Especially when I've got live entertainers on a waiting list to be in the group.
The other day after prompting two group members several times over about a 10 minute period, I finally resorted to a countdown. I did a spacial chat countdown from 5 then kicked them.
I got a tip from someone in the Cantina for doing that!

Down with the Macrotainers!
