Ok two things
1. The Devs are suposidly workng on motion capping the new flourishes so if we hit them now with things like juggling,fire breathing, tumbling ect. we MIGHT get it. If we wait too long they wont be in studio anymore so lets brainstorm this and at least send them some ideas of what we want captured (I agree we probly wont see it untill the expansion but the capping can get done)
2. The Devs like props and we like props so it sounds as if we might get this one so toss out all your ideas Ill keep a running list going for Ravenmist to take to the devs.
Flowers- either a single bud or a bouquet.
Boa's- stated this in another thread and I see it stated here (both kinds)

Numchucks (sp ?) My character is working on TKA and I equate the dance moves to many of the TKA moves both use grace and skill to execute

brainstorming list
Ok here's how it will work I will try to add everything to the list the first thing in the lsit is the highest level/certification the leftmost will be the lowest level/certification. So we need to brainstorm both, popular opinion rules here the devs will ahve the final say.
More types of entertainment (with apropriate flourishes too)
Acrobatics,Juggling,Fire breathing,Sword swallowing
Dancing props
Ribbons (different lengths), Boa (both feather and snakes),Hoops (different sizes),Nunchucks, All melee weapons currently in game, Flowers (single and boquette), Canes, Taps (clickity click sound)
So my guess is that any requests would go into the NEXT mocap session at some unknown time in the future. Too late on this one.
On the plus side, they did indicate they'd gotten a bunch of new material, not just for dancers and musicians, but some interesting things for the other professions as well. I think I also read they did get people like jugglers in there. Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

Pickles is correct, they are done with the last motion capture session so we'll just have to wait and see what we get out of it, then ask for more later.

Well you tell those DEVs to get back in the motion cap studio and not to leave untill I say its ok!
I hope it's just rumor that they got the "Electric Slide" in there before being caught.

Interrupt flourish on move
If you move while dancing you stop dancing, but the current flourish completes its animation. It did not work this way in beta and I would like it changed back. If I’m in the middle of a long formal flourish and move or /stopdance to scold someone or other such role play it is silly to have to wait all that time for the flourish to finish. I want to stop NOW on a dime.

I'm going to have to disagree partly with you on this one.. While I agree moving should cut off the flourish.. Stopdance shouldn't.. Or maybe give that function to /pausedance.. The reason is in my troupe we use the fact that the flourish will finish to synchronize the end of the dance.. Now mind you we COULD do it other ways, we've gotten very good at being synchronized.. But this makes it so easy and clean. Just do a final flourish that is long enough for everyone to /stopdance. We've even got some common flourishes we use for this and cue points for the musicians to /stopband that ends up with them stopping perfectly together.
But movement.. Yeah, it's annoying starting a flourish in exotic4 right as someone runs off, and not being able to chase after them for a good half a minute.
Good point and I agree move should stop on a dime /stopd should finish the flourish
- i'd also very much like a /stop command or a /pause command that would immediately stop animations. this kinda goes with getting rid of that 'you cannot start dancing while running/skill animating' message- let me start when i wanna start!
- props=good. one thing i kinda always wanted was to be able to shoot blanks out of the guns, just for show. being able to fire a blaster while dancing, and not have to go into combat animation, just kinda blast around as i'm dancing
- still hoping to see us get some NPC entertainer backup dancers and musicians
I can't agree more with having clothes that only a dancer can wear, and maybe even some that you obtain as you go up the skill trees. Clothing is one of the few ways to make yourself stand out in a cantina full of players. I dare say clothing to a dancer is like armor or weapons to a combat profession or meds to a medic. We need our own clothing!
I'd also like to see more makeup options for ents. How about a special option for IDs to give up body glitter for a few hours?

Hmmm... *thinks of ideas for dancing props* Most of the ones I'd suggest have been mentioned already, though I didn't see a 15 foot boa constrictor on the lists, and that sure worked for Britney Spears on mtv...
I'm not sure I want to dance with a rawl tho. *shiver*
