Thread: Has this ever happened to you??

This probably isn't the right place to post this but it does go somewhat with this thread.

Radaian is pretty hostile to entertainers and new players, I know cause I have a toon there that was trying to be a musician. It's a problem with most of the people there, you are either a TKM or Jedi or you don't exsist unless you are a Doc/Entertainer buffbot.

On to whatI was going to say. On Valcyn, my dancer is aspiring to become a master. I made novice dancer with her and have been slowly working on mastering it on my own terms and when I feel like working on it. One night, a guy walks in looking for an ATK entertainer for mind buffs. I tell him i can buff his mind pool and he asks how good my buffs are. I tell him I'm a novice dancer and he responded "Hmmmmm, only 10%. not sure if that is good enough." Needless to say, I was shocked. Before I could say anything else, he says "Nah, forgot it. Not worth it." and runs off.I couldn't believe it! Is this how all non-masters are treated, like we are nothing more than dirt?

I'm guessing that this resentment towards non-master entertainers is server wide, but I could be wrong. How often do other non-masters get snubbed for not being a master and able to do 100% buffs?

Ahhh, okay. I don't feel so bad now. I was surprised that he even stopped to acknowledge I said anything to him. I did manage to direct him to another dancer I know in Coronet the was online and ATK. If that was the case, it's great to see there are players that still seek out live entertainers for their needs.

I've taken buffs from low level doctors and have even bought weapons made by low level WS and Artisans. It's the whole helping others to enjoy their profession kind of thing. In fact, one doctor became a good friend of mine, using me as a guinea pig for his buffs.

Thanks!

Now I know you guys are going to get way bent outta shape for this, but this kinda proves my point that being AtK does NOT prevent abuse.

I hope you reprted them for harassment!!

Well, as a "sort-of" PvPer (Bounty Hunter), let me tell you a few things:

A) I *LOVE* ATK Ents... I always chat/joke/flirt when they are there. It's a great aspect to the game. And I *always* tip well when ATK... AFK dancers will get 500cr if they are lucky.

B) You ents provide a wonderful level of content and socialization to the game.

C) As a single guy, I love that new revealing skirt.

stop by theed sometime guys,., thats where the role players are at.. soo you got one bot to put on ignore,.. i never even noticed.. but the funny thing was 90% of the people that went to the bot stoped and watched us first to get rid of BF,.. probly cuase our group was rocking and would blow away that piss ant buff bot.. i got 75k healing cxp today,.,, yea it was a long day,, but still 75k ! i got 2-3-4 entertainer, and am well into my first elite box

Hmmmm I come here to find out about buffs and see this....

Wow nice je'cy...your posts are all about you being flamed on the boards and then you flame me. As for stopping to watch you for healing bf ....it's in my macro for people to do just that. I don't need the exp so I remind everyone to please watch you before coming to me. I try to keep my macro as "non intrusive" as possible.Maybe sometime you should watch the way the entertainers talk about her while they think nobody is at the computer. The things they have said are much worse than any responses you got on the boards.

I provide a service that none of the entertainers in Theed are willing to do. I'm not trying to "take" anything away from you.Veruca started out there as a convenience to my guild and the response to her being there was overwhelming so I decided to leave her there buffing.

I used to be a dancer so you don't need to tell me about how they are treated...I know first hand.
