BF wasn't specifically mentioned, but we're not sure if that's more a semantic thing with the post or not. We'll keep watching, and see how it pans out.On the other hand, I'm guessing that those combat players who do enjoy coming into the cantina to hang out, socialize, relax, etc., will still do so even if their BF heals right up more quickly along with wounds. Those that feel like it's already some chore, and/or resent that they have to go to cantinas at all, will be happily on their way just that much faster. Maybe not such a bad thing either way then?
On the other hand there are new players coming in and these may never get to know the social aspect if it is too fast.

Hmmm...a bit ambivalent about this, to tell the truth. Some of the things (item limit changes, no title fix) I'm definitely cheering for. Some of the others (removing apprenticeship XP, decreasing incap time, ent & medic healing time reduction, group invites from anywhere), I'm sitting here thinking "Huh?!". It's almost like they're making things too easy, in a sense. Still, perhaps it's preparation to balance things that are in the works, like the removal of AFK macroing...we shall see
I'm feeling sorry for the poor bio-engineers though. This change reduces their medic and entertainer bonuses to the status of 'completely pointless'

I really dislike this. I don't like it that buffs and heals from entertainers are going to take no time at all. I think the cantinas were designed for a specific reason, and although I'm OK with buff bots, I think these changes are just going to make their popularity go through the roof. I still think there is a place in the game for live entertainers, and these changes just cheapen their value in my opinion.

You missed a key one that will affect AFK buffbots.
Group leaders are now able to invite players from anywhere in the Galaxy.
This could be the afk buffbot killer.

Haha, gather a list of known bots, sit an alt in a house, and run an /invite macro? Devious.

finally having 200 rare or looted items on display leaves little room for furniture in the cantina. There seems like a trend going on with developers, they reduce restrictions, then reduce them alittle more. This happened with shuttle time, ap, and house limits. I am thinking the pressure of keeping long term players happy is getting more important. Regardless, really good changes in this patch and more good ones to come soon.

In my experience, other than the veryrare rp/combatter, the people we socialize with are each other. Now granted, I mainly play on a server where there are very few roleplayers. I've had enough combatters express to me that they believe they're being forced away from their game to give us a chance to chat with someone. They resent the time sink and they hold us responsible. I'm all for getting them out the door more quickly.

I would be careful with that
There was a sticky post by Pathu here once "Do not interact with buffbots" or something like that (do a search here if you want).
In there was stated that the CSRs consider this (inviting buffbots for the porpose of "blocking" them) griefing of those very players, and ban people for doing it.
I don't like that practice, but as long as they do it, I would not advice anyone to run an /invite macro for buffbots.

Here's what i wrote on our guildforum already, concerning this patch.
Those people who only go to a cantina to watch, go afk come back and leave without tipping, are the ones i don't want there anyway.
So probably good that they leave faster now.
The ones that enjoy the cantina, and the talk with the dancers/musicians will stay even if the BF is healed
So probably not too bad. Same for Buff-time reduction. The ones that only care about getting buffed and don't talk anyway... well *shrugs* also now i can buff someone without accarragm
And Apprentice XP. At first I thought: "well you should train other people and all, to be a master"...
but then... how is it today?
"Let me train you! Teaching 4444 Blablub! Paying 2k per skill i teach you!"
Or grinding AP XP with Ranged Support 1.
Don't think that was the initial thought of the AP XP. So probably better they take it out too, just hope they have some XP applied to the Master Box, and don't just give it away for free now
The Inventory and all, sure is nice.
Smugglers get a tiny bit of love, not sure if its really much
No Idea how the invite throughout the galaxy works, and if its needed, guess we'll have to see

I have a history, and I think that probably appeared at some point around the time I was harassed by a bot, not the reverse.
Part of me wants to ask every entertainer on every server to simultaneously begin harassing their bots, just to push the developers to take a stand in opposition to, or support of, the buffbots. After all, what would they do? Ban 200 players?
I want an official policy. Until I see one, I'm not going to tiptoe around the bots on my server, or any other. Does the development team view these 'paying customers' as valid characters? It might be a fun way to find out...
At any rate, if I'm banned from a game for vocally opposing an aspect of the game that destroys a playstyle I was promised, then I don't want to play that game. It's as simple as that
