Yeah, I thought props were going to be a lot more wide-ranging, but as Esharra said - the list seems weird. We'll wait until the final version, I guess.

Fixed exotic flourishes so they now function properly

Does that mean that each exotic dance now has the full 8 working flourishes or is that too much to hope for?

I wouldn't be suprised that it means the flourish "properly restarts" if you /changed during flourish 5 - 8.

In the Bounty Hunter forum, Garva posted this:

I moved it by mistake to the visible forum, when the patch hits test center I'll move it back and there have been some updated changes added as well. Should be some time today.

And yes..the information I have received indicates that our updates will come to us across multiple patches. I don't expect it all at once. I don't want it all at once. All at once means that we have layers on top of layers to test. When one layer depends on another, I prefer to test the feature one layer at a time.

Here is the problem:

If they put a patch anything like this in, where they take BF totally away and give ZERO inspiration buff enhancements at the same time, the entertainer prof is going to go extinct. Other than a handful of people on each server who do it just for the performance, entertainers will become a thing of the past.

The devs have GOT to understand that they cannot take 90% of the role of the class out of the game, not replace it with any other role (props do NOT count as they are just window dressing) and expect any reasonable player to want to continue playing the profession. And no, "Inspirations will be better in the future," does not work. This has been proven over and over again... why do the devs NOT get it? "We will fix it eventually" means "We want you to pay us another 3-5 months of subscription for a broken/incomplete/not-working-class, and we'll give you a partial fix just to shut you up in the meantime."

I'd rather wait and have them actually DO SOMETHING about inspiration buffs rather than have it rushed (like everything else they do) into production half finished.

If the original post got deleted, then I supose the new publish isn't ready for publishing the details yet, so please be carefull about this list. It might even get deleted as well.

But still a promising list.

And people were saying the same thing when they removed mind buffs. I know how strongly you & others feel about this and I am certainly not wild about anything being removed from us without an immediate replacement. However, this is how it is happening. We can deal with it, just as we dealt with the removal of mind buffs or we can get worked up over it and risk getting shelved...again.Last time I made a similar statement, someone who knew that our content had been postponed previously challenged me on it. Yes..we have been shelved before..because of negative playerfeedback. No..I do not want us to be shelved again. We have worked too hard for this.

Btw..not calling you down here Chess..you know I adore you.

I just want to know what it will take to have us simply play the Rebel them and the Imperial theme.

Is that so hard?

No wonder the torturous spamming Imperial NPC's in the Theed cantina (you read that right.. I want these NPC's accounts banned) tell me my music is subversive (defamation of character suit?) while playing StarWars3. Its not my fault the Imperial March sounds the way it does, I'm merely playing the 41 sounds recorded forthe song (8 flourishes x 5 instrument sounds) in each instrument 'voice' (plus the coast-riff) as originally recorded by the game's programmers and sound design team.

Perhaps there's a real nugget of truth to the Stormtroopers line:

"This music is subversive. With any luck the Emperor will pass a decree shutting places like this down."

I used to get incensed at the "subversive" part of that last line. But given the current state of entertainer professions, it seems that shut-down will be coming within a week once we're reduced to playing music and dancing for other musicians and dancers benefit. Surely nobody ELSE is going to set foot in a cantina after BF goes the way of the dinosaurs.

MY job would be much more pleasant if I didn't have to deal with spamming Imperial NPCs I can't /addignore. Reminds me of what the US did to Noriega. No escape.

I'm really excited about these changes. They might not be everything we're supposed to get all at once, but it's just great to get something. It's great to see entertainers listed in the patch notes again and again, because, belive me, I remember where there was absolutely nothing in them for us for a very long time.

I don't think this is the end of the Dancer profession at all. I think this is a move back to it being a fun profession that people want to play, not a profession that's required that a lot of people don't like and therefore automate it. I am very interested in the upcoming inspiration buffs but I am willing to wait. All in all, I think this is a very positive thing for us and I know I may be in the minority in saying that.
