I wonder if there's a further guide somewhere like the one Chalame listed that also gives the prerequisites for beginning a quest on the various branches. That would be extremely helpful and keep a lot of people from wasting 3 weeks by taking a quest that they can't even do.

The first clicky in my guide, while not listing the prerequistes outright, is quite comprehensive on the entire process, and I think most prerequisites can be gathered by reading the quest descriptions there (though I only looked at a few of them). If nothing else, the owner of the guide can probably be convinced to add that information .

Even fatigue healing would be better than more wound healing. Isn't the cap still at +125? Masters with bio wear are already at that point.

Actually, the amount of Wound Healing (Music) a Master Musician has is +85. Master Entertainer gets you another +10. Twi'lek get a racial bonus of +5. You can get up to the +25 maximumfrom a single item of clothing made with Enhanced Myoflex tissues. You can get a variable amount from Corellian Ale, about +10 on average (more if it's made with bio-enhanced food additives) that stacks with professional, racial and attachment/tissue bonuses. So a Twi'lek Master Musician (or Dancer) with +25 "entertainer" clothing has +115 Wound Healing, and a Twi'lek Master Entertainer/Musician (or Dancer) has +125. A non-Twi'lek

There's nothing for Battle Fatigue Healing (Music) other than clothing attachments. All the Fatigue Healing is in the elite skill for both Dancer and Musician. Twi'lek again get a +5 racial bonus (to all four...Dance and Music, Fatigue and Wound Healing). There is no clothing tissue or food type to boost this.

And Kodo'...I think it was the 'throw them a bone' variant. Done by someone who's not even on the same continent as the clue phone, where Entertainers are concerned.

a: that is the trick, you have to wait 9 weeks and become a medic.

why would you have to wait 9 weeks? Just wondering if there is some timer I don't know about or something.

I just got glowing today, so I have some time yet.

Of course the devs think we belong in the cantina. Why else do you think they gave medics and docs the freedom to leave the med center (where wound healing and enhancements belong), while we still remain tied indoors to do any good? I see a lot more street musicians and dancers, than I see the corner neuro surgeon. But then again, until the macro nerf comes, giving us the same freedom would just encourage starport buffbots.

I think the crappy mods were more or less a "throw 'em a bone" response that an actual incentive to get FS skills. I don't think the devs ever intended Entertainers to persue to the Village of Aurilia, but in case some did (namely combat-ent hybrids like me) get a little something. A little something...

This can only mean one of two things:

  1. There's some sort of huge content coming out for us that many other professions will be excluded from. To stop the complaining, the devs and community can point to the Village and say "Hey, you got yours and we were excluded. Now it's our turn." (*cough* Hutt Casino *cough*)

  2. The devs really and truly think we belong in the cantinas. That we're happy and content with being there since most of us "just socialize" there anyways. We have no interest in a combat-oriented system like Jedi and the Village.

Or maybe both. Who knows. The devs have been very tight-lipped about this...

Oh, and very nice guide Aleyo!

This is my original post in the thread "Senses Tree: when do musicians get to unlock." Also, to answer a posed question, you would have to wait 9 weeks because that is how long it would take to get to the village phase (3 weeks per phase)where an entertainer can participate in a force quest (if they get novice medic).

I pulled this off the jedi forum, this is just the senses tree, but I will post all trees on the FS FAQ thread. Enjoy!

Phase –QUEST - BRANCH UNLOCKED- REWARD - requirement

Phase 1 – Medic/Survey- Aid Station - Heightened Senses: Persuasion - Unknown - MASTER MEDIC

Phase 2 – Medic/Survey – Construction Forman - Heightened Senses: Luck - Resource containers and an Inorganic or Organic survey tool - Unknown

Phase 3 – Medic/Survey – Construction Forman - Heightened Senses: Survey tree - Organics Survey Tool - Unknown

Phase 4 – Medic/Survey- Frenzied Doctor -Heightened Senses:Healing tree - Unknown - NOVICE MEDIC

Definitions of the intended benefits of the senses tree:

Persuasion (Phase 1) = Trick players/npc into thinking you are a faction you are not.

Luck (Phase 2) = Increase your chance to loot a good item.

Survey tree (Phase 3) = better surveying for resources.

Healing (Phase 4) = better entertainer healing (+5 per box at 4 boxes (+20 total) I think).

Some extra stats:

Number of branches Entertainers can open = 0

Number of branches entertainer xp can be traded for = 4 (all senses)

How much I think this stinks = ALOT

Hope this heps,

Cian Thurio

How about something like these:

Q. Can I take more than one quest per village phase?

A. No. You can only do one quest per phase. If you want to do two quests from the same phase, you must wait until the phase reappears in several weeks' time.

Q. What if I take a quest and realize I'd rather take a different one in the same phase? Can I "abandon" a village quest?

A. No, you can't abandon a village quest. Once you take it, you are committed to that quest for this phase. Accordingly, you should think very carefully before choosing a quest fora particular phase.

Updated with those two questions, as well as a question about opening a second slot without wanting to go jedi.

What is the minimum amount of things I need to do to unlock the 2nd slot if this describes me:

  • to my knowledge, did no holo profs

  • I am "surging with the force"

We were told that we would not "have to drop skills to unlock our second slot" of course...... one cannot trust a word that comes out of the mouth of an SOE employee.

For that, I will refer you to this guide, or any of the other guides posted on the jedi forum. It's quite a bit that you have left to do, as you get your slot either at Jedi Initiate, or Jedi Padawan (one of the guides should be more clear on that).
