lol no I've never done that... I did once turn a pot of Chili into cajun Chili... Ok not really chili but more of a crust type of chili not very tasty... It smelled really bad for like a week... But the water... yes I would have to tease anyone I knew that did that as well...

Oh, you don't have to drink alone! We're here with you!!!
And it's not an addiction. I can stop whenever I want, really. (Plus, American beef just isn't the same as the good stuff they have 'down there.') (And wow, something about that really made me sound like I enjoy the company of men...)

One time I made cheesecake and left the eggs out.
I did remember BEFORE I put the cheesecake in the oven, but scraping it back out of the crust was a difficult task. LOL
I also left the sugar out of peanut buttercookies once. What can I say, I'm kind of a dingbat sometimes.

I was making popcorn. Put the oil in the pot, turned on the stove, wandered back into the other room to see who was dying now and how (horror movie)... heard a *PhooooM* sound, saw a bright flash out of the corner of my eye...
Ran into the kitchen. Flames shooting up to the range hood. Tossed the lid onto the pot. Put out the fire.
Put the pot outside on the patio to cool and throw away later.
Made a new batch of popcorn. And did not leave the room.
