I said it's not *just* about the Battle Fatigue.
And it's a pretty darn accurate comparison. Ask any combatant you know to read it. They'll tell you.
The main difference?
You're not going to charge someone 20k to clear their BF, but I've seen posts from some entertainers overjoyed at how they can now charge 30k for buffs...
First of all, I have 1 entertainer character, 1 crafterand6 combat characters. I've mastered BH, pistoleer, CH, carbineer, TK, pikeman, fencer, and commando. Speaking from experience, your analogy is absolutely horrible and makes absolutely no sense as far as the topic is concerned. Besides, if 1 person is charging 30k for buffs, you can bet there's going to be someone right next to them charging 10k. Personally, I don't give a set price, I just ask them to tip whatever they feel it's worth to them. More often than not, I get 20k-30k. Sure I get a few who tip 1k-2k, but if 2 regulars are sitting in front of me, and one always gives me 20k and the other always gives me 2k, guess who gets the buff first?

And then *bam* you stop dancing. You try to start up again, but you just jigglea couple times and stop again.
The Holocron pops up and says your Entertainer Quotient has been exceeded and you can no longer entertain until you've managed to kill a Nightsister. Grouping to kill the Nightsister is just fine, too.
Actually, we talked about something like this. Making a "Universal Fatigue" instead of a "Battle Fatigue" that would just be on combat players. UF would instead create fatigue for any activity: crafting, dancing, fighting, whatever.
It makes a lot of sense, you get tired no matter what you are doing irl, and it would take the burden off of combat players and just make it a game world activity.
Also, there is an ID Proposal for "Charisma Buffs" that would basically be BF Buffs. So, they'd give you like negative BF so you would just feel so darn great about yourself that it would take a while to break your spirit even if you are getting whaled on.
Maybe you should just re-examine why we have BF in the game and how well it's working for everyone instead of saying we need to be an "always on" kind of NPC service. There is nothing really wrong with always on NPC kind of services, but they aren't usually something that would also be fun to play as a PC game role. ![]()
... also, the HAM changes might greatly affect BF anyway so we'd all be better off re-examing its role.
