Thread: When buffs fail :(
Honestly, its only decent to ask that we be able to monitor the buffing process. It doesn't give us some unfair advantage that is going to throw the whole balance of the universe out of line, it simply allows us to do our jobs. I don't think its a lot to ask.
I'm horribly embarassed now, I gave the guy his money back and logged because I was so discouraged and humiliated about not being able to buff him after 20 minutes of trying. I am a Master and take my profession seriously, I need to know when my buffs aren't working so I don't diminish my reputation. After all, one of a Dancer's most important assets is her(or his) reputation.
*cry* I'm so embarassed now and my confidence is shot...
Don't feel bad, it happens. It shouldn't, but it does, and it's not your fault.
I gave about 6 buffs last night. One of them didn't work at all. He watched, I used /setperform, he stopped watching when I told him to...and nothing. *shrug*

Aw, I'm sorry sweetie! /comfort
Shake it off though! We're all having a hard time with this... I hope we will see improvements soon, but till then you are at least in good company. ![]()
Keep on groovin'! We'll keep pushing for solutions!

Don't let it throw. I have had this happen as well. Themost embarrassing time was a fellow Ent. I /setperformed. Floed like crazy and he ended up getting a buff for about 30 seconds. . . twice in a row! I know it easy for us to say this to you, I also know what its like to be in your shows. You lose your confidence and wonder what you did wrong and worry about the next one. Please don't. I do enough worrying for the entire Bria server. ![]()

Sorry to hear about that. Nice to see you Dancers are so supportive of each other. (Not like us cantankerous horn-blowers!)
Hmm, by any chance was a Musician playing in the room at the same time? Is it possible a Musician was actively buffing your target? Were you grouped with any Musicians?
