I never did it, ever. I just did Exotic2 until I mastered. I think some guys are more comfortable doing Exotic(1) though. Looks more like standing around than dancing, LOL!
I've decided I'm going to start doing it whenever I come across a Cantina full of AFK Masters doing Exotic4...

Sorry I couldn't hear you I was doing exotic 1. 
(Lei's flailing arms spill Accarragm all over the stage floor.) Good thing we have a new mouse with "scrubby bubbles" to clean it up!
