Well..I'm a ATK dancer (yes i know we are rare) and every 5 mins I have to deal with the spam from the stormies. Funny Theed is under Reb control but we get stormies flooding the cantina. Due to this, alot of the dancers have moved. Great job making Dancer even harder to bare

I was thinking the same sort of thing the other day in Coronet: "What are Stormtroopers doing searching in a Rebel-controlled city?" It seems like the devs want more people to go Imp to be safer from this sort of nonsense.

I have said the same thing in various related threads through the forums. It is ruining my gaming fun and I am constantly being driven out, the noise and spam is intolerable. If the devs want to kill off the entertainer professions, they are going the right way about it.

We have worked hard in Theed, Chimaera to encourage more ATK entertainers and have had fantastic groups with lively chat, even put on performances. Since the cantina searches started it's been impossible.

FP campers don't help, the gunfights can be continual if there are enough of them.

I also feel sorry for RP guilds that used to search the cantinas, this publish must have spoilt their enjoyment too.

On Corbantis Theed cantina was camped by 3 AFK FP campers. So now we have 15 AFK entertainers and 3 AFK combatants. It is rediculuous to even try and hang out in what was my home for several months. The environment has become intolerable and game breaking.

Quite frankly what I think should occur is that 2 places become safe places in NPC cities - Cantinas - people need a chance to take a breather - get their minds healed and BF healed, and hospitals - people need a safe place to get healed and buffed.

The crackdown should NOT be occuring in the cantinas. It gives no one a chance to catch their breath. My fighting alt was out yesterday and I went in cantina for a moment to sit, collect thoughts and let mind heal... 4 stormies came in and tried to take me down. There should be safe - resting zones.

On Radiant, I took the afternoon to protect the entertainers in the cantina of Rebel held Coronet from stormie raids. It was loads of fun swatting down stomies that came in disrupting the ATK gameplay of entertainers. The girls really enjoyed having me there to defend them from Imperial incursions. I even had the honor of defending my fiance from a PC Imp (of course she ran away when I challeneged her to a duel). Seems like some of the Imps like the crack down but are scared to participate in them other than to harass suspected Rebels and neutrals. Funny thing was, they were comingin to get healed and we were denying services to them, lol.

Silly Imps, Coronet is for Rebels.

I always liked when you'd be in Wayfar, and a group of Stormies would run in ad shout, "I smell Rebel Scum!"

But it's getting excessive.and it's not just Stormies I was in the Moenia Cantina, and a Rebel guard was in there spamming things like " you don't look like a Rebel, I'm calling this in"

Aww, c'mon guys, alot of us asked for more immersion and integration into the GCW environment in whichwe live, and we've received it. Certainly it needs tweaking, but those observations can be made in the "Current Issues" threads. I'm sure the devs won't be opposed to adjusting the frequency of cantina visits. The cantinas haven't been ruined. They're just a little too busy at the moment.

We were fortunate that there were no incidents during the Cantina Crawl which wasmy most recent visit to SWG. However . . . . when I got this game I recall that it specifically stated that there would be separate areas where you would NOT be involved in PvE or PvP fighting - that you would only be pulled into the battle if you went to the areas that were assigned as battle zones. Now, the only safe place to be is in your own house - providing you don't get a TEFwhen you step outside to grab the daily holonews disk off the front porch.

I don'tmind a little shakedown as added ambience so that I feel more a part of the movies, however, I don't think the Imperials (or Rebels for that matter)in any of the movies could "scan" my faction alligence in some mysterious manner.

why are people always complaining ??

Its a Cantina NOT a Library...

Has anyone noticed how noisey and and chattered the background music is in the Cantinas ??

I think if your bothered by it.... you need to place a Player City Cantina and hang out there.

lol then yall might complain that you are bored...

no one is ever happy, I get so tired reading the same whiney posts over and over... if you that unhappy... try a diffrent game.

Do I mind violence in the cantina? I used to, but not anymore. Han Solo himself could be accused of violence as well.

...but at least he left a little something to "clean up the mess."

As far as the spam is concerned, I don't think it would be too hard to handle if there wasn't already too much spam from other sources. But NPC spam, alongside unattendee spam makes for a very stressful cantina.

Being Imp doesn't help in the least. Sure, you won't get shot at, but those ST's are spamming everyone with the same "dirty wascally webbels" kind of text, regardless of faction.

Overall it would be a neat idea really - just the implementation sucks. For one thing, it's much too frequent (every hour or so would be enough), and for another, it always goes the same way every time. If the Devs are doing something like this, they should at least make those troopers semi-intelligent, with the ability to recognize faction affiliation and branching conversation options depending on that.
