i'd like to thank the SOE for recognizing a professional dancer/musician in the theed cantina, ahazi with a badge for her efforts. theres really no decent dancers/musicians in that cantina anymore. Everytime i need a buff, i go walking around looking for someone with the Master tag, and today for example, there were 4 master dancers and 2 master musicians. i asked each one...u know they were all afk, or just didn't want to buff, only 2 had the afk tag above their head, and the one that did answer me said this, "sorry i cant dance buff you now, im grinding musician".
Well once again the queen of the cantina adara is where my loyalty must lie. Im really tired of being let down time and time again by all the afk'rs in the cantina that are supposed to be playing the game. I'm going to stop trying in theed, I will only go directly to adara from now on. She is the best, and very nice, funny, and logical to talk to. Plus the chatter in her group is usually pvp, hunting chat that is pretty interesting.
Do any combat professions get these special badges?

So are we, Aural.
However, we're attempting to foster true growth within the profession, and buffbots (as well as the people that use them) are greatly interfering with post-hologrind rebuilding.
Where is your character? You can't do what is right? You can't shy away from the buffbots, realizing that they're turning a profession into a service that could be provided by NPC's? You don't "need" a mind buff, son. You really need to develop some moral fiber.

Let's be clear here, it is not YET post hologrind. So many people seem to think that it is. Publish 9 changed the way that Jedi who are already Jedi play the game. Publish 10 will change the way people become Jedi. So far, the hologrind is STILL in effect.

And since this is post hologrind, why are the master dancers still afk?
She is still a problem. If she's playing her alternate account. She shouldn't be dancing period. I know loyal dancers who have additonal accounts or just a single one. When they're AFK they stop dancing. They just don't hop on to their alternate account while putting their alt into a buffing mode so they can collect 500k a day for pearls and krayt weaponry.

and no adara isn't a buff-bot, shes there most of the day, on her other alt playing, she even msg's me sometimes to talk while im getting buffed, but most of the time i msg her, she's there.
and i don't use the star system. perhaps you have peer's around that dont agree with your thoughts.
And since this is post hologrind, why are the master dancers still afk?

Has it ever occurred to you that many of our patrons also find value in these things? When you talk like anyone wanting them is distasteful, you alienate us from the bulk of the playerbase. Why?
The issue shouldn't be what she is doing with the money. The fact that this type of AFK hurts live Dancers is much more relevant. Try to be a good steward for Dancers please.

Notice the heavy-duty sarcasm? As someone who has been playing well over a year with 2 accounts (currently 3), and someone who heavilly hunts krayts, the newest patch is a slap in the face, not only to me, but to my customers as well. I sold pearls for good prices so most people could afford them, while everyone else gouged.
I've yet to see a pearl drop with this new "fix". It is plainly obvious that SOE was being deceptive about this loot situation. They simpily removed them until they could come up with a solution. Currently, this is it.
It's like the time of the Holocrons, when you had upped the silents to 4, but didn't tell anyone for many months. I knew about it, but I kept my mouth shut. Maybe I should have just let the cat out of the bag?
I quit this game for 3-4 months and came back because of the spawn increase alone, but now it's just like before with the nerfs. Why even remove pearls from juvies? Quality pearls tune horribly anyway. They're the same as quality crystals. I say put them back in, along with the regular canyons, but make them quality.
Overall, I'm fed up with shelling nearly $45 out per month to a game that keeps getting nerfed, bugged, etc... go ahead and flame me, one-star, etc... I'm venting my frustrations out here.

Unfortunate that I also have returned SWG after half a year off to see some exciting hunting and loot prospects only to have them summarily nerfed. I see two large problems here. Once again some invisible quota on loot has been exceeded, in the opinion of the developers that be, so they attack my favorite part of the game LOOT(no not just krayt--although those are my fave--other loot tables have been nerfed). And instead of SOE actually having the honesty to say they were changing the loot tables on Krayts they enact another stealth nerf and only fess up after an uproar in the community. It is offensive.
The impression I consistently feel about the crew helming SWG is they are so busy reacting to everything they dont have time to be proactive on all the issues that need to be addressed. I like to think thatin reality excellent people are helming this ship. However you are not demonstrating this to myself and many others. So many people have left this game in anger and frustration. For a few weeks I thought the team developing the game had matured. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case.

I second that. I killed about 50 elders since patch 13.1 and I haven't seen a single crystal off of them, and all I've done for the last 3 months is hunt elders, and I can say without a doubt that the drop ratio is not one crystal for every 50 elders, at least not before patch 13.1.

I havent looted a single Damage Crystal since the origianl "patch" last weekfrom Elders or any other NS... that's around 40 Elders and literally a couple thousands Nightsisters... do I have a personal bug in some way? Or has my Zeddy luck reached new hieghts?
