*sigh*
Here is a new design document for the CURB that was intended to help us. Honestly though, it's nice that they're thinking of us, but we need to show them how we can make it work.

My main concern is the fact that we don't even need to /setp them anymore. Players can sneak in, grab a buff, and be on their way.
Suggestions?

I absolutely HATE this. Why must they continue to push buffing on us?

Like most I'm sure, I say we need a popup winow in order for players to even get these buffs in the first place, otherwise how are we now gonna ba able to get any tips from this, seems to me their trying to makeEnts more of a automated professions.

I think a pop-up window would be a great idea! It would help prevent buffbots from working (unless they use a third-party mouse clicking macro).
My only concern with that would be each time someone listens, a box would pop up. Perhaps we could fix this by adding a /requestInspiration command?

Sounds like a good idea to me.
The forums signin seems to be a off and on thing, so yay I got on.

The crafters and combat people absolutely love this change for us. Wow, who would have thought.

Crafters are notorious for doing anything to get a better crafting session. So yes...this is good for Entertainers..more exposure . I do agree that there needs to be something for US. How are we getting paid? stuff like that....

Yeah, I know. I really hoped there was another way to get our concerns addressed other than ranting and raving about it. I do not like flaming or openly complaining about things. However, as much as the devs ask for constructive critisism, it seems that the only way to get things changed is to amass a great number of people and post nothing but complaints!
Surely there has to be another way to go about doing this...but if not...

I can't believe this.
Do you all have any idea how important this will make us?
Even if we can't control who gains the benefit, these imspiration buffs are incredible. I couldn't have dreamed that they'd actually do this!

It's nice to hear that. I have been staying away from the forums lately because of all the negativity.

Another good idea, with horrible implementation.

Oh, please don't get me wrong. I certainly love the idea behind it, however, from what I get from the design document, I'm afraid it will be poorly implemented.
My issue with the design documents stem from the same issue I have with buff bots. To most people, the mind buffs dancers and musicians give are also very important. Because of this importance, a new species developed, the Buffbot.
Unless there are some changes to the design implementation, buff bots will become even more desirable. I don't want to see this happen.

Exactly. Buffbots with +25 tapes will be even more popular. A guaranteed 24/7 3 hour buff dispensing machine? *sigh*
If, if, ifafk macroingis removed, then I could warm up to it. Maybe.
