Does anyone know if Dancers/Musician will be allowed to re-spec into combat professions?

The last I saw TH was saying all players would get a total re-spec. Why bother just put blue frogs on live and let everyone be instantly uber. This game loses more and more of it's Star Wars immersion all the time.

I can so relate to that!

Why would I pay $15/mo for that? Oh yeah, I won't.
Why am I still here? Well this account is pre-paid for WAY too long, so I got quite a few months of b*tching to do til it runs out.

I can't bring myself to give up dancer though....even if I cancel my account, it will be cancelled with Ay'la as a dancer

Yep Elwyn will stay a musician till he no longer exists. I did start Ellwyn to do other things and he will probably end up supporting them both but Elwyn is a musician and wouldn't be the same without it.

Have any of the developers posted how exactly the Re-Spec will work? It would be soo much easer to plan what I'm going to be after the CU if I knew HOW the Re-Spec will work. I mean.. Will you just get to move all your used skill points around to anywhere you want or what?

Personally, I'm not looking for a re-specto change the way I play the game- just some respect for the way I enjoy playing.

Well considering how much they screwing changing the game up, it's really only fair for them to let you chose something that more resembles in the new system what you were doing in the old system. Also it's only fair that they let you respec to something new if they're TOTALLY DESTROYING your old way of playing. Personally I'm working out my new template now before the CU goes live, since I don't trust them to implement the respec properly or fairly.

Funny enough -I actually have designs on my character to respec in the other direction - away from combat.
Currently, I'm a master Riflegal - however, I am close to that FS character (and all done without afk - so it can be done!). I'm actually looking to adding Master ID and Musician to my Dance mastery. I'm especially keen for the ID, as I often use ID changes in my routines but have to rely on someone else to make the changes. The music would be excellent too, that way I can choreograph and compose at the same time - so I'm looking forward to the fun aspects of that

Dathora is, has been, and always will be a Master Dancer, Master Musician, Master Entertainer for as long as the professions exist in some form or another.
Now...what to do with those leftover skill points is what's kickin my butt.
Any suggestions?
