I realize this is the 'Dancer' forum, but its the same category, and since a few other posters have expressed their concern about related classes, lets take Image Desigenrs for a moment. I haven't figured out how to work them into combat, but there is one ability I'd like to see them get that would make them a much more valuable profession. Take for example Joe Rebel, who has to make his way through a starpot and city crowded with Imperials who want his head, or perhaps Jack Jedi, who has a bounty on him larger than Jabba's granddaddy and can't show his face in public. Here's an idea! Go and get some plastic surgery, change your appearance, and no one will find you! No, wait, that won't work, because there's still that stupid name floating in space over my head! So here's what you do, add a 'disguise' ability to ID. If this ability is used on a character when they have their appearance change, have a temporary effect (maybe one hour) that will remove your name and keep you from showing up in searches. Better yet, have it randomly generate some generic name to be displayed in place of yours, and also remove faction standing (any action against opposing faciton would of course negate this). You could even make the effect level dpendent, for example, if a BH is after you, his chance of finding you may pit his tracking ability against the disguise ability of the ID who disguised you. It would give players a reasonable chance of escaping without being foolproof, even add a random element to the comparison so that there is always a chance of seeing through the disguise.
Blackbird, these are ideas that have come up before. The bard one is interesting and has been discussed before, but I think I've heard that the devs are generally against it as they don't see it as our role and it's not the direction that they want to take us (not that we know what direction it is that they *do* want to take us, but oh well). Even within the community it's a bit controversial as some see it a potentially fun and useful skill, but others think it's out of context of this genre of game or not they way they'd want to play. Either way, I don't think it's too likely we'll see this.
Your suggestion for Image Designers is another familiar one, but it's also one that I happen to like a lot, and would like to see as well. I have no idea whether this is one the devs would consider. However as this is the Dancer forum, this is not really the appropriate place to discuss this idea. If you're interested in this idea, I would recommend taking it to the ID forum and maybe there they could tell you whether there has been any discussions from the devs about it.

As such a high percentage of the issues in the previous thread are outdated, I'm starting a new one. This thread is for bugs and issues currently on Live. Please refer to the CU Concerns thread for CU related issues. Thanks!
Bug related issues:
Some dancers are unable to complete the 2nd part of the Theater Quest and learn Theatrical 2, regardless of how much xp they gain by dancing Theatrical.
Some missions (NPC given and Terminal) do not complete.
Some missions (NPC given and Terminal) do not complete.
Between when Tumble, Tumble 2, Breakdance and Breakdance 2 went from TC to Live, their positions in the Dance Knowledge branch was changed. The xp given by these dances was not changed and is inconsistent with xp provided by other dances in the same boxes.
Issues not related to bugs:
Unattended play & buffbots: The ability to fully automate all game mechanics aspects of the Dancer profession.
After the change to client/server syncing of avatar location in the world that was necessary to correct the appearance of the (moving) base dances, we are unable to use the numpad keys 1 and 3 to change our direction (it appears to us that we have changed directions but not to the viewer). As a result, we are unable to control drift or change the direction we are facing.
Incomplete dances: The lack of 8 unique flourishes in all dances.
Entertainer Missions; scalability with level, payouts & gameplay value.

Dance rewards for all species/genders
Dancer loot from non-combat sources
General lack of content / build on the Entertainer Quests
Art issues - clothing/jewelry clipping, etc.
Lack of group start and change dance commands.
Player theater issues - the "outside vs. inside" problem that disallows ent healing/buffing and items to be placed on stages.

When I first read this part something stirred inside my head, you know those temporary things for the player events...... why not have the same type of things like stage type items that can be placed inside/outside cantinas and theatres player owned or NPC city owned. But why not make them restricted to the player datapad like droids are.
Say 3 or 5 per player, you could own in your datapad things like speakers, microphones, etc. you know, the things that already exist in the game but can only be placed as an item in your player structure. Put them in the Entertainer/Dancer/Musician skill trees.... Call them "Props", mabey allow 5 per player max..... box 4 of the Entertainer Healing row of Entertainer "Props +1", then somewhere up one of the rows in Dancer and Musician, mabey Box 2 of Techniques, and then the Master Box. Mabey put one in the Master Entertainer Box too which would allow 6 of them in your datapad if you Mastered all three professions.

Bug: When a player does the /stopwatch command on a dancer, the dancer stops watching him/herself, and stops receiving entertainer healing xp. The EH xp that is meant to go to the dancer during that time is built up, and is either lost (if the dancer stops dancing) or is given to the dancer in one huge chunk when another player watches the dancer again.

Well after the CU hits live the one dancer reward items is going to be alot less usefull so this problem doesn't seem too important anymore.

This point is completely addressed in the CU. Entertainer given mind buffs are gone, and so far the new entertainer buff can be self-applied, and buffing progress is indicated so I'm not sure if this is worth bringing up as an "issue".

Correct. However, the CU has not gone live and I still have the responsibility of making note of issues that are currently on Live. After the CU has gone live, I'll be able to remove anything that no longer applies.

Can you perhaps explain this alittle more?
I have noticed that doing the Tumble/Tumbe2 dances got me more xp then doing Popular2/Poplock2
I'm not sure if this is the same, or diffrent with Breakdance
I would really perfer to do Poplock 2 instead of Tumble 2 but Tumble 2 is alot more xp =[

Bug related: (and yes I have /bugged this in game)
No visible cantina sign on the outside of the Coronet style cantina. I can see a sign on the Tatooine style cantina but not on the Coronet one.
Top issues (not in order of importance although I could order them if you want me to):
-Ability to AFK an elite profession has to go
-Provide dancer specific SEA's via a non-combat quest or mission
-Make the enhancement cothing schematic from Jabba's Themepark something useful for all species and genders
-Make SEA's 'stackable" since clothing isn't easily layered for many species (e.g how many +1 SEA's can a wookiee realisticly wear?)
-Mission terminal payouts need to be increased
-Mission terminals should be located at the entrance/exit of all cantinas including the "outpost" cantinas on planets like Endor, Dantooine, Dathomir, etc..
-Content! Not just new dances or props but actual content. How about giving entertainers the ability to "spy" in the GCW? Provide a reason for groups going to a dungeon or quest location a reason to include a dancer (similar to needing a DE or MA in the DWB), etc...
-Dancer specific clothing, props, holo-effects etc...

I try to be concise when I can.
This is really one of my top issues. As someone (or someone's sig?) said recently on these forums, similarly to Sirii's sig, "There's a difference between being useful and being used".
I hate being used.

If you guys want to rank them in order of importance, I will reflect that in the stats.
