I can't beleive this is happening..... I was in my cantina restocking my vendors when this person comes in and ask to be healed..Very polite I may add, so I said sure. I get up on the stage and start the healing...this guy had a lot of mind wound and BF. While doing the healing we talked a little about everthing going on with the new patch coming andchanges, I finished healing him and wished him a safe journey and luck on his missions. This iswhen it gets weird...He then asks me where is his tip ??? Now at this moment I though typing error thinking he meant how much of a tip he owe me. So I say no gift is nessasry I make a good living off my vendors, then he says NO you owe me a tip for letting you get exp off my wounds...about 50k will be fair. WHAT!!!!!!! I though he wants me to tip him ???? ... At this point I say I'm a master dancer I don't need exp. points so I'm not going to tip you...and besides it's proper for you to give a gift to the entertainer that heals you...they find it hard to make a living, expecially the ones just starting out.

He then says that he heard dancers are paying for the exp now and he wants his 50k. and as I was typing a response he then added....And since I'm a major I order you to tip me now 65k since I now have to order it.

What the Hell is going on with people to act like this ?????

so I ordered him out of my cantina, banded him, and then put him on the ignore list.

I never though I see the day when a customer would demand credits to be healed :-( I love being a dancer and don't want to give it up, but things like this make me wonder if it's worth it.

The guy had to be joking around, or was just trying to be a pest.

I think the guy described was just being a doofus. However...

On our server it is now unfortunately common to see people come into a place like Coronet Cantina with mind wounds and battle fatigue and shout something like: "I have 500 mind wounds and 500 battle fatigue! I will watch you for 5000 credits! Tip me 5k and you'll get the xp!"

There was a time when a person like this would have been laughed right out the door. Entertainers don't pay for xp! We get xp by healing, and you pay us to heal you! But with all the holo-grinding and so forth, there are more than a few entertainers who encourage this despicable new sales profession by agreeing to pay to be watched.

lol ! stupidy has no limite.

I presume that he asked a tip because nowdays entertainer healing xp is harder to earn for various reasons but requesting 50k from an entertainer what a joke. The same people ask credits to be trained ( app xp ).

What he should have do is letting you know that he wanted a tip to be healed in first place. He also need to understand that a Master dancer ( I guess you have your master dancer title on ) doesn't need healing xp.

He then says that he heard dancers are paying for the exp now and he wants his 50k.

Why not tell him that you are not this of dancer and why he didn't made it clear that he wanted a tip.

I've heard rebels eat their children.

Good gods . . . I guess this means we dancers (and by the same logic musicians)will have to start questioning patrons BEFORE we start dancing to ensure they aren't going to try to extort or strong armmoney from us for healing them! ROTFLOL . . . . .

Lovette dear,

Something is broken when:

Rebels would rather keep an NPC Imperial Base Imperial to farm holocrons (and vice versa).

The Master pays the student.

Items placed on the bazaar are not to be bought, but merely show a waypoint to a vendor.

Merchants have to pay people not to buy anything, but walk into empty houses.

Medics would rather heal auto tumblers in the med centre than real characters with wounds.

Dancers who make no money while dancing should pay for individuals to watch them.

Eek.. that's bad. I've not had any customer demand that I tip them for letting me heal their wounds. It's sad to see that people are doing this kind of stuff.

It reminds me of a guy that sent me a tell maybe 6 weeks ago. He sent me a tell asking if he could take over control of the city's cantina (which I had placed for the city I'm in and had spent about every last credit I owned to decorate). I thought it was both a rather obscure request and a rather rude request. I held my tongue and asked him why. His response was "Because I'm a Master Dancer". My immediate response was "Funny, so am I." He then proceeded to bother me for the next ten or so minutes about how I should let him have it or at least share it. That's not really the relevant point as I was not about to share the cantina with someone I had never met and saw maybe once (I recalled seeing him getting on a shuttle in Coronet earlier that very day, AFK above his name, and Skilled Dancer as his title).

I think players are just getting more audacious with their requests given that they can get just about anything these days with little actual effort. Most xp can be gained without really playing.. so the same should be with other aspects of the game.

I cannot believe that that person had the nerve to ask you for a tip. I am hardly able to keep 20k in my pocket let alone 50k. Dancing is my only source of income and thanks to Holo Dancers I have to pick up a combat class now or pick up my house and not have any expenses. Buying new clothing is also becoming more and more expensive as Tailors are demanding more profit.

It is getting to the point where if you are not a Master Dancer already you cannot afford to get there anymore.

I wonder if that person also askes a Doctor to pay him for healing him? Or Buffing him? After all they are healing him and getting Exp too.

It's a fun thing to own the town cantina so you can just ban him. Then talk to the mayor to have the town ban him as well .

At our Cantina all the Dancers that live in town and Dance at the cantina on a regular basis get put on the admin list for the cantina and are free to kick unruley customers out and ban them .

Well, the problem is that healing XP is very hard to get anymore. You used to be able to get it anywhere. Now you can only get it in a handful of (mostly unpleasant to work in) places.

Still the guy is laughable.

If anyone ever walked into the player cantina where I perform and offered to "let me heal him" for a price, I'd immediately have my dancer sit down on the floor, and emote her laughing so hard she can't dance anymore.

I would then refuse to dance for him no matter how much he offered me (which I assume he, eventually, would, if he actually wanted to get healed). See if he ever does that again.

Idiots...

I hate to say it but he wasn't joking. Because of the Holo craze that is going around I have personnally witnessed people auctioning off their BF and mind wounds and unfortunatly have seen the hollow grinders litteraly drool and trip over their feet to get to these people.

AFKers degraded our Professions and now the accursed Holo's have destroyed it.

Aah, so he´s one of those idiots I´ve heard so much about. They usually spawn in MMORPG:s after a while.

People like that ruins the game play. When I sold my holocron, a guy wanted me to give it to him cause he "needed it" and I didn´t. Of course I didn´t want to give it away for free, so then he demanded me to hunt a new one with him, sigh.

My ignore list just keeps growing by the minute.
