I'm not an entertainer anymore (former musician) and I know many entertainers don't like this "speed buffing" but I'm going to post it anyway. I'd gladly pay a little extra to get it done in a hurry sometimes. Waiting in a cue for a 8 min Dancer buff, and next... wait in another cue for a 8 minute Musician buff is a waste of time for hunters (while the Doc. buff silently runs out). Dancers and Musicians should have some income I think and buffing at great speed doesn't do any harm in my opinion.
This macro has been posted on some reply in this forum somwhere. I tested it today with a dancer and it gave me a 2 hour double mind stat buff. Keep in mind that this macro might be very annoying to some people in crowded cantinas since it spams startdance/stopdance messages. Hotels might be a nice place to buff.
1. Get your Action/Quickness/Stamina buffed by a doctor.
2. Run this macro after /setperform for about 30 sec (it needs to loop 30 times). Use the /dump command to end macro when done.
This example is for the macro to be placed in Toolbar Slot F1.
/startdance exotic4;
/flo 1;
/flo 2;
/flo 3;
/flo 4;
/flo 5;
/stopdance;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
Musicians can use this macro:
/startmusic virtuoso;
/flo 1;
/flo 2;
/flo 3;
/flo 4;
/flo 5;
/stopmusic;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
Have fun

The listener/watcher will stop the clapping animation, which may equal stopping listening/watching. I didnt check for this when I did a test with such a macro today. Does the stopping clapping animation equal a stop in listening/watching or does the listener continue listening, even with no animation indicating that?

As I mentioned, I got a full 2 hour buff from a dancer using this macro, I also noticed I stopped clapping, but I still could /stopwatch after the buffing. A character doesn't stop watching even if the entertainer stops performing.

I am glad that the listener/watcher does not stop even if I stop playing. How do you dump the macro when it has no paues in it? The /dump command requires a pause in the macro, doesnt it? At least it says "X paused command chainsdumped." and I've had problems dumping macros that have no pauses.

You should be able to /dump it even though it doesn't have pauses. It might take a few tries.

One quick question, does this macro work with group mind buffs also?
I do alot of group buffs for PvP raids and such, and it would really help if it does.

I'm sure this works in a group also.. can't see any reason why not... You have to keep it going a bit longer though. I don't know how many flourishes you have to perform for a full passive buff, but the "rules" for active buff is 150 flourishes performed while /setperform for a full 2 hour buff. The passive buff has to be a lot more I guess.
Anyone know the answer to this?

I might as well add the 4 minute macro, if the entertainer's not buffed by a doc, you might be able to perform this macro if you are healed along the way
It's very similar to the previous macro (one line changed), still needs to loop 30 times (4 minutes).
Example is still for Toolbar F1.
/startdance exotic4;
/flo 1;
/flo 2;
/flo 3;
/flo 4;
/flo 5;
/pause 8;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/startmusic virtuoso;
/flo 1;
/flo 2;
/flo 3;
/flo 4;
/flo 5;
/pause 8;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;

This method works perfectly fine for me. I run the macro for 40 seconds though just to be sure that the server doesnt swallow some of the flourishes

I got a full buff from a Master Dancer/Musician the other night in what seemed like less than a minute and it seemed like she was spamming /startdance, for the dancing part, like 100 or more times. I noticed it and then looked back through my message window and sure enough there were like a 100 or so "* begins dancing" messages. Anyone seen this? What is that all about?
