ok - it is REALLY annoying that someone in their infinite wisdom thought it would be nifty to place an NPC in the Theed Cantina that would be camped day and night by loot fanatics. It really ruins the atmosphere when you are roleplaying or even just chatting to have to listen to someone kill that darn commoner over and over and over... sheesh!
please sign here if you agree that he needs to be removed!!!!
thanks

On Kettemoor, there is a musician with bad townspeople faction. Only he's never ATK long enough to notice. So the commoner keeps charging at him and attacking, which bugs his music so he never actually gets anywhere.

sometimes the imperial roleplayers / RP stormtroopers come in and try to arrest the loot campers. haven't seen one of the campers comply yet though

Does that NPC even drop any significant loot? Who would like to camp something with just 150 HAM anyway?
But some people do, yes... I was in Mos Eisley cantina on Starsider earlier, and there was a guy continually killing that Commoner, which kept popping up again immediately. I checked the combat log, on average that guy died every 6-8 seconds. That's really ridiculous...

I'll sit there and kill it if there's no one else around, and sometimes it does drop semi decent stuff. I've gotten two woven baskets, a palm frond and a SLAVE COLLAR from it.
I don't mind people killing it... but then again, I have no sound. I imagine it would get old real quick if I did.

The afk campers in the cantina are certainly annoying. The number of campers grows as they loose thecapacity to loot.
Some of the campers watch/listen the whole time they are afk - it's funny to be getting healing xp when there is no one in the cantina but the afk campers who are sprawled out on the floor being beaten by the commoners. Unfortunately, the commoners never win.
It is easier xp for thoseworking up brawler than going into the field in front of the hotel. The commoner respawns faster than a chuba/nuna/spineflap and it doesn't move around.
The pleasure of the afk camper's company is only exceed when a marksman joins the fray, shooting from acrossthe room.

Yes, it is REALLY F WORD annoying. What pisses me off the most is that someone I consider a friend is camping with an AFK looting macro that she assured me was not an AFK looting macro the first day she was sitting there. I have stopped dancing in Theed because of her and the people that have decided to level up their personal buff bots using an with an applause macro (yet another inconsiderate annoyance).
I have been playing my little combat alt instead of my dancer and not because i enjoy the character more, simply because the cantina is not worth going to anymore.

Else - if it's the person I think it is, she's also taken to dancing in the lobby. >.<

Having an NPC that drops loot that good (the baskets and the fronds especially - the frond is, or was, really rare) in the middle of Theed cantina seems like a bug to me. Have you submitted a /bug report in-game?
