We also have a part in the new Mos Eisley Mystery quest series, with the entertainer quest called: Life of an Entertainer.

This hasn't been documented yet and I'll be checking it out and getting some more info for us once I'm home from work tonight! If you can get over to TC, visit the Mayor of Mos Eisley, he's in the Commerce Guild Hall (I think), near the Starport.

do you want a step by step?

I've done it twice through now so should remember most of it, but will only post if you are happy for spoilers.

As for spoilers..I think I'd prefer to do as has been done with the Theater Manager quest and post any complete walkthrough on SWGentertainer.com. Information I prefer to have here is where to start, pre-reqs (if any) and approximate time/complexity. Just enough so people go into it somewhat prepared but leaving surprises for those who like them (like me ).

ok then, pre-reqs is novice entertainer, and funds for a bit of travelling. Approx time is 30minutes if you go quickly through it, complexity is low, after all this is designed as part of the introduction to entertaining.

As an incentive you get a badge for finishing it (and something else, but I'll leave that as a surprise)!

You actually start with an npc in the mos eisley cantina (on the left as you come in the main door), the mayor gives you her name (I've forgotten it ok) but the mayor is one of the new heralds who sends you to various quests including this one (ask him to teach you about entertaining to get the right quest)and he is in the guild hall near the starport with the contractor in it (which I think is the commerce one)

Once I'm back in game I'll run though it again and get the exact details for swgentertainer.com

Ok, I took the time to figure out a little about what you're talking about here. Are there any links to this Mos Eisley Mystery quest series? Patch notes or something? When I first saw this I was wondering what you were talking about, and thought this was some kind of player event. I tried to check recent patch notes but didn't notice anything. I'm just wondering where StarWorker found out about this.

Starworker found it the same way I did - by working through the new player tutorial on TC-Bria.

After you go through the first round of them with the Kotor 2 rip off NPC you get sent to the mayor who has a second set of them, one of which is the entertainer one - others are Marksman (boring), Brawler (that's a good one, and has a badge as well, only need cl level 2/3 or an escort), Scout (funny, very funny) and artisan (bugged)

I recommend having a go through the new tutorial at some point for everyone - go to Trehla(sp? she looks like the old woman in Kotor2)in Mos Eisley (between cantina and starport) and it helps to relearn some of the things that have changed since the CU.

Is this the one where you wander all over some 20 or so miles of Tatooine trying to dig information out of various cantinas, hotels, and bars? That was the very first thing I did, I was kind of thrown into it ^.^;; the reward is great, but it doesn't seem to revolve around the Entertainer class in any way really... Then again, it sort of branched off, one of them seems pretty Entertainerish, the other is general newbie guidance stuff, I really dunno how I got into it or what where who... errh. Annoying as all heck it is! Informative for a newbie like me but, still very very annoying to have to drive my speeder over all that desert =P *pif* I uh, couldn't afford the transport... And I wouldn't recommend walking...

*doesn't remember talking with any mayor...* I might have the wrong quest, (the name soundsright)but you've talked me into actually FINISHING it to try and get a badge..... tomorow, ugh, I'm exausted tonight. x_x

If you can answer this question correctly you completed it:

I think you can bypass the mayor bit if you're just doing the ent part of the quest series and start with the lady in ME cantina. Not sure, I started at the mayor.

For once I found the content to be EXACTLY entertainer oriented, educating people more on what the real job of entertaining is. You know, the one that, by and large, no one is doing, resulting in the current lack of a solid social/interactive hub in the game? Heh. It didn't mention healing, didn't meantion buffing, didn't mention passing notes like HS freshman or giggling like annoying little girls.

The more I think about it, the more it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and like they haven't forgotten us and what place we should have in the game, and that they're serious when they say they are going to help us fulfill our role.

I don't think I got a badge though. Mebbe you have to do the whole quest series. Or maybe after 2 years I just have so many darn badges that I can't find it.

I enjoyed doing the quest, but the reward wasn't really rocking my boat.
Something nice todo when there's nothing happening anywhere nontheless!

I figure the reward will slightly vary for males, females, wookiees and ithorians? All I got was a (highlight to read) Plain Shirt. <---

You need to talk to the mayor after you complete the quest to get the badge.

Ahha!! I will do that!

It can go right next to my 23rd unwanted exploration badge.
