Simply 1 reason they want to unlock jedi, and the old system isn't out of the game If you truly wanted a fix for those afkers have the dev remove the system message of unlocking , and truly completely remove unlocking by master professions. Thats how you would see a 100% decrease in afkers. The recrusive macros denial destroy casual players, and as well was a feature to people who bought the game by SWG devs.
This was the wrong approach to this, and I hope to see the idea shot down and the above implimented.

Actually, most of those are gone. We still have a bunch yes, but the bigger overall problem is the horrible impact buff bots are having on our profession. But, most of the hologrind is already over. 90% of the afkers you are seeing are *not* jedi hologrinders. They are people afk grinding buff bots who will then permenantly be afk entertaining.

The system message for unlocking jedi via professions is still in the game, its just people dont get to create a jedi. Thats why you still see them there. If the dev's completely remove master prof's for a jedi, then the legit entertainer's will have there catinas back 100%

Except for the buffbots that will remain and growif enabled to. But that's okay, because ending recursive macros takes care of buffbots too.

Wrong, i dont believe in that term. Its a term meant for musicians and dancers who weren't around afk people who were grinding for jedi, a clean place to go.
Like I said before its all about the jedi grind still, its hurting the community nerfing this. You have to remember the casual players, they will be hurt the most and money will be lost. Like i said people should have petition for a ful removal of jedi unlocking via master professions, not having the ability still via message.

If you do not believe in the existance of buffbots, you have either,
a.) Not been in a cantina in months,
b.) Not been playing SWG,
c.) Had your head buried very, very deeply in the sandfor a long time, or
d.) Have absloutely no idea what a buffbot is.
Go cry someplace else, please. We're not the devs. I just play one on the forums.

Dont make an attack on me, most of the entertainers cheering for it dont see whats the real problem behind it, like i'll state again its the jedi unlocking system, completely remove it , and the system message where a player gets no credit for mastering professions for jedi and you'll have your cantinas back simply.

Uh, you're wrong. ALL entertainers know the cause of buff-bots. Most combatants whining about it don't see that buff-bots hurt OUR gameplay and that as the actual players of OUR profession, OUR opinion matters, NOT the opinion of a buff-bot who is not playing nor the opinion ofa nonentertainer who is not playing. When the jedi unlocking system is removed in publish 10, we'll NOT have our cantinas back simply. STILL there will be buff-bots who ruin our experience. What part of that are you not understanding? I think you are just being aggravating on purpose.

I love reading posts by people who have NO idea what they're talking about.
Buffbots are rarely, if ever, hologrinders. I mean, if I were hologrinding and decided to keep a profession that will allow me to make a lot of extra money... dancing would not be it.
Also, they ARE getting rid of the hologrinding completely. Before you repeat yourself yet AGAIN, I know it hasn't been removed yet. Let ME repeat myself, in case you didn't understand it the first time. I KNOW IT HASN'T BEEN REMOVED YET. However. The vast majority of players who were grinding for Jedi have either a) already unlocked and are waiting for publish 10, or b) given up and are waiting to do the quests. On my server, at least, probably 95% of the players I find in cantinas these days aren't hologrinders, but people grinding entertainer professions to make their own buffbot. And I laugh at them.
God, this feels good. LOL

What this fight is ending up to beEntertainers Vs the Community.
Like I stated the real solution to all your problems is the dev should completely remove the problem of afkers is to remove the process of grinding for a jedi [ take out the system message of " you have unlocked " ] just take it out devs and these entertainers will be happy and not be angry, thats it, done.
Every time i seem to bring it up it just gets the run around
" you darn afk buff bot machine " buff bott. buff.bot...
THats my message if you want those afkers GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE then take the fight in the right path and ask the developement team to removethe darn entire process for grinding for jedi. Speak with your correspondent and you would agree about what im saying.

Armando, our Corre has fought for this as well...
Keep in mind the fact that an end to buffbots is not all that we're fighting for. We've pushed for content and the fixing of long-standing bugs as well. The end of buffbots is a necessary step in the direction of salvaging the entertainer professions.
Also, it's not Entertainers vs. the Community. First of all, entertainers are often viewed as the glue that bonds this community together. Secondly, many non-entertainers support this choice for a variety of personal and unselfish reasons. Thirdly, even I refused to use buffbots as an active leader in the GCW on chilastra. I attended many raids without a mind buff, only using muon, because the entertainer was a bot. (This was later in my stint as a combatant, after buffbots became much more prominent in the pre-battle preparations.) We are members of the community. We're not outsiders. We've been here through everything, just as you have.

Actually it's not, it's Entertainers vs. A portion of the community. That portion being the people that have been conditioned by buffbots and can't bear the fact that they won't be able to get a mind buff on demand.
/emote weeps for them.
Not.

It's hilarious that some entertainers think this change is about us. It's about people being able to race through professions and then getting bored thus canceling their account. Get over yourselves lol, Sony doesn't care about buff bots or your complaints about buff bots.
However this change won't stop people from getting bored and canceling because tedious level grinding should not be what this game is about. There should be actual content and right now there is no high end content. I expected to see huge councils like in the movie, there are none. There are no large scale battles, there's no real teamwork, there's no involvement in sub-stories which the devs could use their imaginations and create new stories for us to be involved in and have a chance to change.
When we could have all of the above, our main concern is a feature that's been around since the beginning...? What we should want is what star wars is all about, and until we get real content, why worry about buff bots? People will not stop leaving until we have something to do besides leveling and doing the same tasks we've been doing since the game was released.
Without these macros, there's really no reason to log in aside from chatting and occasionally helping out guildmates.
We needcontent, no one should be against that.
