Thread: Force Sensitive : Healing
Yep. You must have medic skills. I suspect that including a bonus to entertainer healing was actually a typo that was accidentally left in the description ![]()
Also, while the belly dance in the Village made me snort I don't recommend actually doing that. Those Sith are very evil and don't seem to like entertainers at all....hmm I wonder if some of the people coming into the cantina lately are actually Sith in disguise.

Actually with the changes to healing, not just combat healing but wound and sickness curing you may have to have novice Doctor for this. Not sure about the progression of the FS skills but I know that one of the healing quests in the Village used to involve having to heal NPC's of their various ailments. But since I haven't pursued FS skills I could be completelyconfused about this.
Yup..that's for the Persuasion line. That quest required master medic and you had to haveeither patience and very good experimentation luck or master doc (I did it with my master doc..it is the one that rewards you with the plant). It now requires experimentation from the BE tree. Or you might want to check around to see if anyone who has done the quest previously ran some schematics and saved the resources (I did this in anticipation of having to repeat it onEsharra in the future).
I can't recall offhand what, if any, prereqs there are for the branch that has our bonus in it. Iused a free unlock on that one with Esharra. I didn't take it on my former doc.

Some notes on this.
Important: Be absolutely sure you insure and you clone at the Dathomir Science outpost. It'll reduce decay to 1% and prevent BF and wounds if you die, so you can immediately start right back towards the Village if you died.
First of all, Phase 4 of the Village is very dangerous. Don't bother trying to run in there if you're a low level combatant, you'll get one shot incapped a billion times over until you're dead and have to drive all the way back out there again. Wait for the spawn to end (each spawn lasts around an hour and then there's a roughly 45 minute pause until the next). Then proceed into the Village once it's clear.
Second, store your vehicle. It will be toast in no time otherwise. Seriously, don't forget to store your vehicle.
Initially there were *no* skill benefits to Entertainers in the Village, and since there was also no cantina in the Village, well lots of us got upset about being totally left out of the FS thing. So the Devsadded the Entertainer skill bonuses, but put it in a branch that required Medic, personally I think as a snub to us for complaining...I've no idea of the logic in doing what they did.
Anyways, I did this quest as a Medic and it was pretty rough going but not really too bad. Here are some tips:
1) You're the most important person to keep alive. Driving back to the village after dying a lot isn't fun. As you're healing others, don't forget about yourself.
2) You must be in a group, and if you get a heal in on someone while they're killing a pirate or outlaw that counts toward their quest completion from Captain Sarguillo, you will get your "heal" credit. Otherwise you don't get credit. If someone is killing a Sith Thug, and you heal them, it won't count for your quest...only if they're shooting at a pirate or outlaw. I recommend avoiding those fighting thugs and concentrate on those fighting pirates and outlaws.
3) People like healers during Phase 4. The Sith swarm sometimes, so people will take all the help they can get.
4) If, at any time, you think you're in too deep - get inside the hut in the center of the Village. Other people are in there taking a "breather." A Sith won't come in there, and you can heal up (sit to regen faster, if you're not stuck in aggro). In fact, consider the method of running in and out of the hut to heal people, then back in the hut. If you *ever* get incapped 2 times within 10 minutes or so, wait out 10 minutes in the hut before venturing out again. Otherwise that 3rd incap will kill you and you've got a long ride ahead of you if no one can rez.
5) Any healing action, no matter how small (even healing for 1 damage) will give you credit. Don't worry about healing for much, just get any action in.
6) You can check back with the lady who gives you the mission to see how much more you've got left to do. You will NOT get a message as you do it, telling you "you get 1 healing credit towards your mission, 49 left." or anything like that. I wish they'd put in messages like that, but they didn't.
7) Seriously consider going for the 2nd 50 heals (100 total)for the Bacta Tank. They're rare and quite popular, and if nothing else you could sell it for some nice credits or donate it to your favorite doctor's Med Center.

Sorry, that was probably off topic. But I wanted luck and persuasion, they seemed reasonable for my character to posess for roleplaying so I did these quests.
I can easily gain exp to convert into senses, of course.. but I can only access 3/4 of the senses trees (can't do persuasion).
For the combat trees... /shudder
At level 14, solo I am getting between 500 and 1k exp per kill.
If I group with friends, I get the same exp. They're getting at least 5k per.
So I'm getting the same rate of exp that all those newbie padawans have been complaining about being so insanely slow -- and yet I have something like 30 million more combat exp to gain before I even have the option of being a padawan.
Talk about depressing.
They STILL require Master Medic to get this quest? Even though a BE does not need Master Medic, just Medic 0/0/0/4 and they have moved the required Elite Skills to BE from Doctor?

For the record, you need master medic to take the persausion quest (it is active now) and Bioengineer 0004 to craft the high end medicines.
I took full advantage of respec... got master medic, did the healing quest during phase IV. Once you make it into the hut near Paemos, the rest is a cakewalk and takes only a couple of hours. I didn't go for the bacta tank though.
I also took full advantage of the double xp we had and grinded out 2 crafting branches in that time making tactical skinsuits.
I have crafting mastery 4440 and senses 4404 (no persuasion).
The timing just happened to be right soI could respec to master medic ... complete the village quest, then respec back.
I am doing the padawan trials now! ![]()

But if it was Pre CU i would not even HAVE to do this stupid Quest because I would still be a TKM, and not need the ranged accuracy =/
I got ranged accuracy for my TKM just because it's an easy unlock. Some of the things you have to do to unlock more relevant trees are just not things I want to waste my time on. They're for uber-leets, and I am neither uber, nor leet.
