Just double-checked.There are3 versions of each effect, as I thought. The /dazzle (for example) command without specifiying a version numberjust grabs whatever your highest version of dazzle is.

I had wondered about that, I knew their must be a level system to them as you go up that changes, but never bothered to look into it further.

Well, that too...
Musician's effects are different than dancer's effects... just to add more into the mix.

/dazzle 1 is by far my favorite effect for Dance and Music.
I use it more than any of the other effects, even /ventriloquism 2 (a musician effect)

Speaking of /dazzle 1.... There is a funny bug that goes along with that effect. The musician and dancer /dazzle are the same effect so the game thinks you have that skill on both sides (dancer and musician) if you have it on the other. Example; When my character was a master musician and a novice dancer I had the ability to /dazzle 1 when dancing even though I still had no skill points invested in dance tech. On TC I was able to reproduce the bug the other way... Dancer with tech 1 and novice musician gave me the /dazzle 1 effect in both professions.

Ventriloquism is actually an exception that doesn't have 3 levels.
I first noticed this long ago with distract, forget how I stumbled across the way to do different levels, but the rest is history.
What's cool is there's a smoke bomb you never see if you don't know this.

Only the first level. If you have master dancer and novice musician, it's still only dazzle 1. (As well as spotlight and colorlight.)

Yes, only the first level but a bug none the less.

I like some of the other smokebombs, but...
I love running /distract 1 on a looping macro. Tiny little puffs of smoke that pop up all around you that make a little bit of a warzone effect.
