Ok, we're coming up on quarterly report time again. This is just a brainstorm thread. I'll go through and tick off which ones get the most interest and then put them into a cleaner version for actual voting later.
We usually turn in 5 big ones and 5 others we would like to have addressed as well but can let sit on a back burner for a while if we have to. AFAIK, we're sticking to that format this quarter.
Give me your Top 5 you will just die with out and then give me your 6-10 (5 more) you really can't forget about but that can waittill after your Top 5.
Just a word of advice that is usually passed down to us in the Corr Forum, easy Issues will get handled first because they can be worked into other schedules. Bigger items will take longer because they will need their own separate Dev Time and Resources.
Good stuff we want, bad stuff we want to go away, stuff that we love and want to see more of, bugs that are making you insane to the point that you want them fixed above and beyond anything else we ask for, you get the deal... all of these go here. Soooo....
ready... set... go!

#1 Unattended gameplay issuses
#2 Bugs (Broken dances, Registration, /stopw,PC Theatersect.)
#3 More content.( More dances, props, quests ect.)
#4 Improved Registration (Fix it, Give more info on who is registered, Let us register at places like the outposts on Endor, Maybe Signs for outside the buildings.)
#5 We need help with our overall image of what we are and who we should be. The majority of our peers in this game treat us like crap. Or just barely tolerate us being in the game.(aka What are we Devs ? Define it already so we can help work towards it.)
#6 Some more active ways other then healing/buffs to help in GCW/pvp ( Not sure how to go about doing that)
#7 Mission Pay
#8 Tools for us to help make content for us and others
#9 to be added later
#10 to be added later when I can think clearly.

Top five bugs;
- Anyone holding a musical instrument and dancing will stop dancing and begin playing music for dance xp whenever /stopband then /startband is used. A player character with dance 1 in novice entertainer can potentially get as much as 100 dance xp per flourish if they are a master musician holding a high level instrument.
- Holding a weapon eliminates falling. If falling is supposed to happen, this is a bug.
- Watching a dancer and listening to a musician at the same time will block either buff from taking.
- Whena player watching you does the/stopwatch command you'll stop gaining EH xp until you stop dancing and restart.
- Formal andLyrical unflourished danceanimations don't show for anyone but the dancer character doing the dance.
Top five issues;
- It is possible to AFK every aspect of the profession. Skill gain and game play both.
- There are no loot items for male dancers (like the dancer's leotard for female characters)
- Dance entertainer mission payoutsdon't scale to the skill level of the dancer.
- Not all dances have 8 differentflourishes.
- Entertainer healing xp is slowly but surely becoming harder to come by as players rely less and less on us for healing.
Of course these are just my opinion.

1.) Fix the %TT in the "You direct your performance to %TT" /setperform System Message.
2.) Fix the /register command in cantinas so that people can FIND cantinas with Entertainers - would help out bigtime.
3.) Fix the simultaneous dance/music buff failure bug. It would save combat players lots of time to get both buffs at once like how it used to be.
4.) Increase Dancer mission payouts - is this really that hard? Half the missions don't even pay for the shuttle ride TO the mission, let alone the trip back.
5.) Fix the broken dances that've been broken for, like, forever. Duh!
Wishlist:
6.) Some article of clothing, like the Exquisite Dancer's Leotard, that ANYONE can wear. Not cool that it's specific to females. The male dancers deserve something similar, it's long overdue.
7.) Do something that demonstrates your disapproval of buffbots/AFK playing, instead of just making a post about the removal of recursive macros, baiting us into celebrating and applauding your stance, and having us bear the brunt of the backlash of everyone who's ever used a macro in SWG.
8.) NEW DANCES. Every other month. Lots of new dances. Keep entertainment....entertaining! Not stagnant!
9.) Entertainer loot pieces that are OBTAINABLE by Entertainers. None of this skill tape junk that can only be looted by combat players who slay 1,000's of NPC's and charge us 10 million credits for a +3 Mind Enhancement Attachment. Give us something WE can obtain.
10.) A new object, Concert Poster, that can have it's name changed (like a Backpack or a Satchel/Cargo Pocket) by a Master Dancer, Musician, or Entertainer. We can use this poster to announce our shows and what time they're at. Just like the Merchant Barker Droid, allow a radial option for "Get Waypoint" to provide the location of the concert/show. Failing this, create a new droid module called "Concert Promoter" and make it mimic the Merchant Barker module functionality, except requiring Master Dancer, Musician, or Entertainer to operate it (like how the Merchant Barker requires Advertising IV).

- AFK/Buffbot issue. Someone sleeping, working, shopping or hunting on another computer shouldn't be able to have the full benefits of a master dancer that is at the keyboard.
- Fix buff application. 90% of buff failures are because combat folks are confused on the application. They listened to a musician at the same time as watching me or forgot to /stopwatch that novice entertainer before /watch me. Meditate can break the buff and sometimes the buff simply doesn't apply at all. It frustrates the customer and is rather embarrassing and frustrating for the entertainer.
- Allow Dance/Music buffs to be applied at the same time again. I believe Panthu said this was a bug? Fix it please
- Dance Failures. Some of us don't like being forced to hold a weapon when dancing just to keep upright. I don't think masters should fail at all but at least lessen the failure rate (you know musicians don't fail at all /grumble).
- Add the missing flourishes. (exotics, lyrical)
- Fix the base dance of formal and lyrical so our customer sees us dancing and not sliding across the floor randomly.
- Fix /register so folks can have one less valid argument against not being able to find us.
- Quests. The dancer quests are pathetic. I'm a master and highest pay out I've seen is 122 credits. Come on....
- Loot. Right now most loot meant for our profession is obtainable by combat folks who charge us just obnoxious prices on them. Give us some quests that give us a chance to obtain some of this loot ourselves or maybe make them drop more often to drive the price down.
- Player Theaters. Enclose it to prevent launcher pistol lag to ruin shows. Allow ban to work for the entire building not just backstage. Allow a entrance fee to watch a performance. Allow props on stage.
This is kind of a useless post but, well, Goldy pretty much summed up everything I would say, so consider this just an /agree.

1) An encompassing statement from the development team regarding their vision of the role fulfilled by the entertainer professions in SWG.
2) Unattended play.
3) /register
4) Fix the bug preventing Dance and Music buffs from being applied simultaneously.
5) No diagnostic or monitoring ability for our buffing and healing skills, ie: no ability to tell if a buff is failing, no ability to tell who is watching us, no ability to /diag a patron's BF damage or secondary damage.
6) Economic inequity, due to low mission payout and dependence upon the generosity of other players for income.
7) Game inclusionary content such as the FS quests being enjoyed by other professions. Inclusion in the GCW; ie: fix faction buffs please!
8) Falling or having to hold a weapon to prevent falling.
9) Incomplete and graphically flawed dances.
10) A male equivolent of the Exquisite Leotard schematic.

I honestly don't know where to begin, but I'll try.
Top Five:
1. Buffbots
Gameplay Equity, divided into2 main points:
2. Self Buffing (being able to use all of our skills on ourselves just like every other profession)
3. Force Sensitive quests that allow us to gain our modifications without having to pick up novice medic.
and:
4. Fix the bug that does not allow musicians and dancers to buff at the same time.
5. Fix base dances for lyrical and formal
Wishlist Five:
1. Fix /register
2. Developer statement regarding our role
3. /groupchangedance
4. /groupeffects (ie, group spotlights, etc.)
5. Eight complete flourishes for each dance.
One thing I find sad about my list is that a year ago, the top 4 on my top list weren't even problems, but it appears that successive changes end up causing more problems. Not just problems, unfortunately, but gamebreaking problems. I'd love to see these bugs removed, and us treated fairly, and equitably, so we can start talking about cool stuff again. Unfortunately, adding cool stuff is never going to make me happy until the gamebreaking stuff is fixed.

1) The AFK/buffbot issue. I know they've promised to do something about it shortly, but until it's done, this belongs on the list.
2) Registration. Should be able to register in player cantinas and outposts.
3) Buffing. Fix the bugs and give us a way to tell when a buff is complete.
4) Content. A lot of entertainers were disappointed to be shut out of the FS village. Time to fulfill on those promises of new missions, the Hutt casino, etc. Content should be added for entertainers at the same rate as crafters and combatants, and it's not by a long shot.
5) Respect. We currently have very little with the rest of the player base. I have no idea how to fix this.
6) Falling. Tone it down.
7) Broken dances. Fix formal and lyrical at least.
8) More clothing, rewards and props. While they're considering this, someone clue them into the fact that there are a few males who like to dance too.
9) Player theaters. Don't bother fixing them, just remove them from the game and check the designer of these things into a mental ward before he designs something important like a starship or something.
10) A light switch for player cantinas. Let us have some true dynamic lighting in there so we can make it look like a real nightclub! Just turn off the ambient lighting when the switch is flipped and allow player created lighting to light the joint.

most of these have been already stated but wanted to put take on the subjects
1. unattended gameplay.-if this profession was meant to be grinded through so easily with a simple macro then it should have been pulled from the game pre release and just have npc's fill the role(not saying it should be i love being a dancer).
2. lyrical, lyrical2, formal, & formal2- for one thing the base dance onall of theselooks like we are having a seizure. the other would be filling out the flourishes wih animations that dont look like the dancer has no real ligaments.
3. exotic 1, 2, 3, 4 - fill out the flourishes and make them more unique. ex: exotic 1 & 2 having the same flourishes. exotic 3 & 4 each having their own set of flourishes (and no more adding ones similiar to the formal additions. they look horrible)
4. Mission pay- i should Not be getting the same payout as a novice entertainer as i do with master dancer
5. entertainer items - male dancers need an item similiar to the exquisite leotard. maybe they could get a suit type thing or a unique designed pair of shorts/hotpants. also we should have a viable way to get clothing attatchments that only pertain tothe type of entertainer you arethat does not require combat. an idea that i heard tossed around is making them an item that you get as a reward from a random mission
oooo i can edit now with the new ranking system *does a happy dance*

I didn't add the male outfits on my list simply because there are male only clothing that has + to dance enhancements. They are dropped loot though not a schematic reward like the leotard. But I've had +7 dance enhancement boots handed to me before and not been able to wear them while the guy that found them could. I believe it comes from Tuskans which is silly as I don't know many dancers out killing Tuskans but male only clothes are out there.
True the difference in appearance between an exotic leotard and tuskan boots should be looked at lol.
I'd still like a way to get our own skill tapes, I'm sure crafters feel the same way

"True the difference in appearance between an exotic leotard and tuskan boots should be looked at lol."
You really cannot compare the two. If Jabba's reward was something I could wear, I'd be delivering enhanced buffs right now. I will never be given, nor be able to afford, skill tapes or dropped loot like you are talking about. Having said that, lack of male clothing choices does not need to be an issue on everyone's list. Pick the items that you think are important.
