I was looking at Hyperspace on SW and came across this pic. I think the Mon Cals in the game get no love. For a fish like people they need some special clothes.

It would be awesume if stuff like this get added in a patch or expantion after the movies release

I think every race should have some of their own special clothes.. that is a very cool outfit.

i don't remembermon calamariwith boobies in jedi, rodians with boobies i do remember (did i ever mention that i hate the special edition versions of the movies? and i'll probably revile the DVD versions when i finally get around to watching them.), and twi'leks with boobies that fall out of theirleotard before falling into the rancor pit and eaten. but no mon cal mammaries. why would mon calamari have boobs even? they're not mammals are they? i thought they were just fishy-people, and as far as i can remember fish are cold-blooded and don't nurse their young (except whales, and dolphins, but they're warm-blooded sea mammals, not fishies), so they have no reason to have boobs. THAT is why soe made mon calamari boobieless...

If you have the collector's edition of the game, there's a nifty little picture book in it with background on how they created the species and the planets. I believe that it's in there where they specifically discuss this point. Basically it's because the Mon Cal. are based on a fish-like species and fish don't have mammary glands, and therefore no breasts. I would suggest you check there for more info if you have access to it.

Actually if you read the booklet that came with the special edition it explains this.
"Female Mon Cal were not well-established prior to Star Wars Galaxies. The team worked with Lucasfilm to determine the female Mon Cal's physiology. Because Mon Cal are not mammals, early concepts showing Mon Cal with breasts (left) were eventually rejected."
So it was Lucas who nerfed the Mon Cal boobies.

I understand why they decided not to give the mon cals boobies but i think they just look sad with out them... my mon cal vendor stares in envy at all my other vendors who have them.. i can tell..poor thing

I think I counted the word 'boobie(s)' a total of 1,327 times in this one thread... wow
I don't think fish should have breasts... but while we're on the subject of anatomical correctness.. what happened to the male genders in this game??

When I was little I had one Malibu Ken doll who had, as my Mom put it, "an interesting lump." That phrase has always cracked me up and I think of it whenever I see guys in haw... er, those garments. 
Image dump is back up and I finally got to see the Mon Cal pic. Nice! Though looking at that design makes me think Cals are another species who should have problems wearing shoes. Unless those fins are something she's developed over years over years of being a dancer. The underwater ballet must be lovely.
The boobs would have to go, but otherwise she looks great - most athletic dancers don't have much up there anyway. And I think they would cause some serious flotation issues.
