I CANNOT get past the first audience. I have failed 4 times.
1st day - I didn't know what I was doing, so I naturally failed.
2nd day - I talked to some friends, tried their suggestions (talked to audience and did what they said, don't do basic, don't do flo 7, do flo 2), I failed. The audience got up to neutral for the last three sys messagess. Not too upset, thought I might have missed something.
3rd day - I talked to audience, only ONE of them gave me a useful hint, do flo 2. Everyone I talk to has said you get three useful comments out of an audience. I even double checked the theater to make sure I didn't miss anyone since most of the NPC's were inside their couches. I tried a few different dances, flourished like mad and threw in a few /dazzles and /colorlights. I had the audience up to Neutral for the last half of my performance. I failed.
4th day - I tried a new city. I talked to the audience. The exact same as yesterday. I had ONE audience member tell me to do flo 2. THAT'S IT!! Not 'I hate basic.' Not 'I love formal'. Nothing but 'I like flo 2.' Did the same thing yesterday, except ONLY did flo 2 instead of throwing in some other flourishes. Also threw in some effects. I still failed after having the audience at neutral for half the show.
Someone, please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Am I bugged? Should I write a ticket? Should I finish grinding out my TK xp to Master and take it out on the Theater Manager?
I'm starting to get desparate...
UPDATE:
My 5th and final time was today, in yet a third city. This time, they told me to do flo 8 and not do flo 6. I did at least six different dances (popular, exotic3, rhythmic, basic, popular2, exotic2). Did flo 8 at least twice on each of them and threw in another flo. I also did about 3 or 4 effects during my two minutes. I still FAILED after having them at neutral for about half the show. This quest isn't worth it even though I kinda like the new dance. Maybe I'll try again when they fix this.

It's a roll. They won't always give you all the info you need. There is some lag between when you change your dance and when you see it make a difference, so it makes guessing hard. Not finding out the hated one is the worst imo because it's just "bam! you lose!"
Also, remember to use the version of dance they ask for if they do tell you one. They ask for "basic" and mean level one Basic, not Basic 2.

But that's what I'm complaining about... they don't tell me any dance to do or avoid. I find it odd that I get only get one piece of advice, the SAME advice, two days in a row in two cities. It's hard to pass anything on "I've seen flourish 2 before. I really liked it."

It's awesome to get two crossing dances, ie: one hates rhythmic another likes it, there is zero chance to pass, it's rediculous we're then forced another 24 hour wait. =(

If you get a dance they say they like and another member says they don't like the same dance I wouldn't do it.
I did pass one of my performances for MusicWITHOUT doing one of the songs they said they liked so it is possible to still pass. It took until the very last update so I'm sure I just made it.
As for getting lots of info but still failing I'd say make sure you give them other stuff as well. I had alot of info on my last performance but it took until I started working lots of other flo's in that it seemed to move past neutral.

My third attempt on Sunrunner, the only advice I got was don't do flouish 6. Naturally, I failed. Then last night I helped a muscian friend on her third performance, and she was told "I like Starwars 3", "I don't like Folk", "I like Ballad", "I like Flouish 1", "I like Flourish 7"... All I could do was cry... lol
I just don't understand how I failed on Eclipse yesterday, however,when I knew the dances they liked, knew the flourishes they did and didn't like, and gave them lots of each, and still failed. *boggle* Only thing I can figure from reading the other posts was the lag from doing it in Coronet and still being in the cantina entertainer group, sinceI just booted it over to the theatreafter I got my 20th watcher.

I really give them a show, too - not just the flo/dance they like. I still failed my 3rd performance last night - for the second time. Also, I was grouped with other ents for the first two performances and that didn't stop me from succeeding. Mmmmm, I wasn't grouped for the two last attempts . . . now I get it - I'm not bugged! I JINXED!

I'm a musician so take this with a grain of salt but I failed the first concert twice. After that I got several friends to join me and let them poll the audience. You do miss people in the audience trying to make that time window alone or trying to find them all from the stage. Some are in couches others are behind the static NPC standing around. Ytoavee (Cloverleaf in forums) and I have helped each other through each concert along with other friends. Group up so group chat can be differentated from spacial and let your friends work the audience for you. I even continue working the audience as Ytoavee is performing incase anything was missed. Oh and read what they say, I hurta friends chances by misreading they don't like flow 4 as they like it .

Then someone please explain to me what I'm doing wrong, cause I still can't pass this thing and I've tried ALL these sugggestions.

Have you taken friends and had them continue to poll the audience? Ifyou have tried this 5 times and never gotten a full set of suggestions you are either missing audience members or are hitting a serious bug. I know that when Ytoavee is performing I'm continually out in the audience double checking the responses. I find that even with 3 people out there polling if you aren't methodical and thorough you will miss that one key audience member on the back row off to the side. If only one member has a key piece of information and you miss them you are toast. Also read what they say carefully, I mistakenly told one friend to do flow 4 when the actual clue was they didn't like flow 4, which caused them to fail.

I double checked the last 3 times to make sure I talked to everyone, but I'll bring friend next time IF I decide to continue.
