This is an abreviated list of the issues we've been waiting for an answer on as well as the two real answers we have to our list so far. Posting this so you can see those two at least as well as remind you what remains to be answered. Least its something til we see those 10 questions answered hopefully by monday.

1. Falling down.

2. Mind-buffing self.

3. Fix Entertainer Missions.

4. Make changes to mind buffing system to make things easier.

5. Fix the lyrical/formal base dance.

What we have a real answer on so far. -

2. Mind-buffing self.

Agreed. Our Devsaid he would address the issue and he will within the schedule. There are larger game systems that effect that line item, so this wont see a change for a while, but entertainers will see improvements as the other game systems are upgraded.

4. Make changes to mind buffing system to make things easier.

This is a reasonable request but it is a technically difficult issue. Entertainers will see some improvements in the near future because of some changes to an internal system, but overall, the polish will be a while.

It's positive that the devs have agreed to implement the changes that we want (well I'm not sure they've agreed to anything in #4, except that we are reasonable.)

These answers aren't exactly informative or at all clear, but maybe it's me. It's not helpful to me to know that things are progressing "on schedule," when we have no idea what that means. 2 publishes? 6 months? It's also unhelpful, I think, in both answers to hint vaguely that unspecified changes are being made thatwill make our lives betterin some unspecified way- before we actually get what we want. (And, I might add, are these mysterious changes entertainer-specific or are they just changes to be enjoyed by everyone?)

We MUST have the Lyrical/formal base dance fixed! Ours is a visual and aesthetic profession just as much as it is a BF healing one. It shouldn't be all that hard, no? After all, it worked fine before.

I'm actually a little worried about their response to number 4. "Make buffing system easier" or whatever. I would have expected him to say "With the changes coming in publish 6 things will be easier, we have added a new visual buffing system that will help a lot." Instead, just the usual rigamarole about "reasonable but difficult."

So this makes me think that the "fabulous" new buffing system they're touting WILL only apply to doctor buffs and not ours. Anyone tried it on Test Center and know for sure?

The new visual buff thing is an indication of what buffs are applied to you. It does nothing about helping you apply them. Therefore it applies to all buffs.

We're all here patiently waiting for Thunderhearts reply to our questions when what we should be doing is contacting his supervisor or manager. The extremely poor customer service we have received from TH would not be tolerated in any other industry and shouldn't be tolerated here. Does anyone have any contact information on the person or persons Thunderheart reports to, they need to be kept informed on the shabby treatment we are receiving here.

Holocron is his boss. Don't expect any help there either.

The normal rules of customer service don't apply to you because this is a video game, meaning you are just a simple child (true or not.) If you are serious about complaining about this shoddy product and its terrible customer service send a business letter to Sony directly.

The writing on the wall is fairly clear, folks. They think we're working fine, there's nothing wrong with us and we don't require any further effort. Their concentration is elsewhere and likely to stay elsewhere. If you think the answers to the dancer questions are going to be any more fulfilling than the entertainer answers were, then put down the wacky weed and wake up to reality.

I'll be amazed if we even GET answers at this point. They don't care about us, how much more proof do you need? We're on our own.

Aside from the answers to these 2 questions I've had a few talks with our Dev. He's assured me that the Dancers will see the improvements to the buffing system we want as well as the GUI additions to make the whole process easier and more easily trackable. The answer he gave here I think was more to emphasize that its going to be a while before it all comes together. From what I understand we should be seeing small improvements to the buffing system on most updates until its finally something thats useful. I hope that gives you a little more hope at least.

I just hope that they do not think these two answers are going to satisfy us and will not bother to answer our list of ten questions or the remainder of these questions. Its been over a week since the first set of answers were given to Entertainers, Image Designers and Pikeman.

I cant understand why they would have commited themselves to such a project if they did not have the time or means to carry though.

I've been waiting anxiously two weeks now for our answers, checking the boards at least twice daily. Its pretty disheartening to be disappointed time and time again.

And I do want to mention that I see this as no fault of Ravenmist in anyway! I am sure he is waiting just an anxiously as the rest of us.

However, I think the lyrical/base dance issue goes to the HEART of what their attitude is about our profession. The dance looks PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL from our perspective and through our monitor. However, when viewed at by others, through THEIR monitors, it looks choppy, incoherent, and like a stopped dance. Its like they are saying to themselves, "as long as it looks beutiful to the DANCER, its fine. Let them dance in their world. We all know the other players DON'T CARE how it looks from their vantage point." Well dears, I CARE HOW IT LOOKS TO MY CUSOMERS! And YES, I TAKE PRIDE IN MY DANCING, and want it to look good for my audience. The fact that it looks good to me ONLY IS IMPORTANT if it looks good to my patrons. Otherwise, I can't use it.
