HI all i thought if i got back into the proffesion it might get better andi could fight afkers,

well today i was in theed dancing in a group with afkers, and a girl named nill wanted into the group to dance live! The leader said we were full, and then i asked him why he didnt just kick an afker. He said that they were all dancing and he doesnt care who they are as long as they are dancing. this sickened me to my stomach so i dropped the group, he asked why cuz he was gonna lose xp, i said to go **edit** himself. i just cancelled my account.

I care too. This game had so much promise and potential and it has been wasted.

I doubt if this game will make it two years at this rate.

There is a scientific principle that states that the very process of observing affects the observed reality. As such, Neo has offered solid proof that he does in fact, at some level, care about the fact that this person quit the game...cared enough to read and post on this thread. If noone truly cared, this post would not have a single response.

So the current list of people who care is currently the poet, vionerd, vionerd's alt, the feminist (or is that the poet?), NeoTheHutt, and naturally myself since I also posted.

I'm one of the people who quietly AFKed their way through Dancer and have not danced a step since mastering.

I always left instructions with the group leader to drop me if they needed a spot for an ATK entertainer, becuase I realize how much they do add to the game.

The loss of an actual Dancer is bad for the community as a whole.

I'm sure you're regular customers will miss you. As, I miss my favorite dancer, though she is still dancing, but I never get to /watch her any more since I moved to another server to be with some friends.

Neo, let me make sure I've assumed correctly. Please correct me if I'm wrong:

• You have no interest in the dancing profession


• You have no interest in playing a character who dances


• You have no respect for those that do

I have the utmost respect for people who actually chose to be any of the entertainer professions.

I've pulled Dancer, Entertainer, and currently Musician all out of holos. And while I may have AFKed most of my way through these professions, that doesn't mean I respect Entertainers any less.

I followed the rules of AFK etiquette. I did not add spatial spam to my macro (that's just a pain), I stayed away from "center stage", and always left instructions with the group leader to kick me if they needed a spot for an ATK entertainer.

Entertainers add flavor to the otherwise mundane cantinas. Hopefully, the Devs will eventually see the error of their ways and either change the current method of unlocking your FSCS (not likely, but I can dream), or they'll fix the AFK macro problem.
