I'm not expert, but lekku are both exceedingly flexible. They are light weight and sensitive at the tips. They do, indeed, float above the surface in water. Look at a Twi'lek as they swim and you will see what I mean. They are also durable enough to play a spirited game of 'Lekku Ball'.

Lekku envy is right!
(All Lei has is a spiffy set of horns that by the way are murder on pillow cases and pull over tops.) hmmm . . . I wonder if they could be traded in?

I don't suppose we can expect a non-Twi'lek to understand. Yes, Lekkus can be very attractive, a nice male Twi'lek with the most handsome lekku is... yum! Then we can converse with them, and let the very sensitive tips touch. Admit it, you are just a little jealous!

And just to confirm... yes if you are paranoid enough to think they are talking about you when they do that... Then yes it's true they are laughing and talking about you. maybe they are planning on leaving you nekkid and alone for the Rancors to finish off so as to leave no trace of foul play..... Hmmmm

I sometimes like to speak Lekku just to make everyone around me certain that we're talking about them. Of course, 90% of the time, we're really talking about clothes shopping.

My lekku have numerous special talents... unfortunately, none of them are appropriate for polite conversation.
