Thread: Mustofar content for Entertainers
"Dancers, entertainers, and musicians will certainly be interested in the new dance, dance props, and song that you can get there."
As long as the missions to get them aren't "Kill 50 of these things, then take this to Corellia, then come back and run around in circles for twenty minutes."

Yeah that is what drives me nuts about some of the previous quests. Like the one to get into Etyyy HUNTING GROUNDS on the surface of Kashyyyk that makes you do space missions.
My guess is, for at least some quests they are going to have space, mustafar, and kashyyyk content to force people to buy all 3 expansions. And I can totally see them doing this with the entertainer quests, since entertainers are as likely as anyone to not have bought ROTW yet.
So again I will wait and see. If entertainers are reporting good things I may try it. Otherwise, nope. And there is absolutely no way in heck I'd buy the pre-order. Never again will I buy a sight-unseen product from SWG. I was burned once with ROTW. It ain't happening again.
EDIT: And just a point here. I don't want the new expansion. I have no need of it. There is no reason Dejah Thoris, the interstellar superstar performer of Corellia, should be traipsing to a volcano world infested with nasty creatures and droids and whatever. In-character, she should not go there. Not only wouldn't I *mind* if there is no entertainer content in the new expansion -- I would actually prefer it. I'd rather save the $30.

I'll buy it cuz I have to collect all the dances... I'm dumb like that but it seems kinda .... pfffft. lol I never got that wookiee thing. Friends told me it was really just combat stuff so I've never been to the amazing wookiee world. I almost got it just so I run around and pet everything.
The only nice thing about it for entertainersis the outdoor cantina, which could be a great venue

I know how ya feel. I'm OK at it. I can do T1 and T2. But then T3 is where I can't do it. To get to the higher levels you just have to be reall good at getting your droid programmed right and learning how to use those and getting the right equipment and well... it's just too much of a pain. And I'm not great at twitch games anyway. So I agree... I hate having to go up into space. Those missions are just scaled harder than my comfort level.
But, it helps them force people to buy multiple expansions so frankly I expect MANY of the Mustafar quests to include both space and Kashyyyk elements.

I have to agree with C here.. I don't have RoTW(I may end up getting it eventually because all my chars are hybrid)
I Never preorder... not sence I played EQ, I let players I know how have similar playstyles (And more money then I) Get the expansion and tell me if they like it...

well it will either be that (because by now I am the firm belief, that the Devs are totally and uterly uncreative), or the classic one:
- get 300 people to watch you (for the Musician quests. Dancers have to find 300 people listening to them)
- spam flourishes like crazy in front of a non-caring NPC audience, heck if it looks or sounds horrible, who cares
Or the new dance will be some super-rare drop scroll from some CL 124 Dark Jedi with a 2 week respawn timer, in some cave you can only reach with 30 Jedi ("Yes we know its inconvinient, but we wanted to give Entertainers some end-game content too")
I'm not really thrilled about the expansion. I got RotW even though I thought it wouldn't really be worth it. Wasn't really either. Don't think I would have missed much really. A few nice quests, thats it.
I most likely will get this one too, even though I again know I shouldn't.
I liked JtL, really did. Then RotW killed it all with those damn relic ships. I wonder what ToOW will do, to kill the last bit thats still alive there. Add some even OLDER ships that are even BETTER? I mean yeah... those fighters back from WW2 or even better WW1 would totally own one of those crappy new fighters the US military builds nowadays... Older=better works in fantasy games, but in SWG its just bull**edit**.
