Here's my contribution.

I ask you not reply on the thread, want to see what my server has to say about this before "going public", but instead reply here. Expect the Base Defense Bot in the next day or so.

Wow, that's pretty impressive. Truth be told it made me kinda sad because instead of going through all the work to level up and equip a bot you could maybe just make a friend to go hunting with. By "you" I don't mean YOU, just, whoever.

Ah yes, but you and your friend could both have bots, then there would be 4!!!!

Anyway, bear in mind I wrote this with the intention of never using it, tho I would like to see it used, a LOT.

Well I probably will use the pwn macro as a joke from time to time, thats just some funny **edit**.

MUAAHAAHAAHAHAAAHH!!

You really made my day with this, best post I read in a long time

The folks on your server forum (and some here) really don't get it, methinks... this should have been around months ago. I bet SOE will fix recursive macroing in a hurry, if this ever gets widely used (therefore I too hope it will)

Oh yeah, one more thing: why don't you post this in the Game Guides and GCW boards? I'd love to see the reactions to it!

/rofl
They just don’t get it… do they?
Must be the result of too many head wounds after being dropped by a scattered brained nurse at birth.
I also have to agree you should post it on GCW Forum as a hmmm “how to improve GCW in game for everyone”

and five stars here and there

You're right, they don't get it. Buuuut...

There was a guy on our server (he might still be around, dunno) who used similar macros to run 4 combat bots at once. One person running 5 accounts to attack together... He used them for both PVP and PVE and at least by our side of the fight was not looked highly upon.

I was always torn between wanting combat bots to become as prolific as entertainer bots, and fearing the complete breakdown of all decency in the game that would come as a result. I geuss I never really had enough faith in SOE to care to fix it if they did become popular....

I'll post to more public forums after I write the Base Defense Bot guide. 2 versions of that, carbineer and rifleman, rifleman would be same template as the Combat Assist Bot so it could pull double duty, follow its owner around when they were there and be used for base defense while the owner was AFK. Carbineer bot would have less use as an assist bot but would greatly enhance Base Defense Bot effectiveness, and you only need 1 or 2 carbineer bots in a Base Defense Bot squad, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

And yes, I agree -- GCW forums would be a GREAT place for it.

Simply priceless. It's like handing a loaded gun to an infant and showing them the trigger.

Keep them coming, get the word out! Once every server population is overrun by bots of every kind, maybe the message will get through.

Need a macro for doctor buffs, too.
