The part where you press the buttons and dance. not the social/community aspect.

Well, I'm mostly a Musician, but I like pushing the buttons and stuff. I like making my character do different moves and stuff, it's fun.

I do. There is a challenge to making the flourishes fall in the base in a seemless way, changing dancesat theright point in a flourish or the basethat the observer is not forced to be aware of the change. Adding lights, costuming, synching your performance with a partner..these are what my game is about. Obviously, we're doing a good job of it..others keep asking me to show them how.

If we didn't like it why would we be doing it?

Putting together a performance, matching a flourish to the base dance or a different dance, matching the style/tempo of what the musician is playing, that's a bit part of what the profession is about.

I know that the 8 dancers dancing with our band last night seemed to be enjoying it. Tuning their moves to not break the flow, picking the appropriate dance to match the song we played, working together to create a wave of effects across the line (i.e. successively do dazzle, smokebomb, etc down the line).

I can movefrom one side of a 50 foot stage to the other without ever stopping the dance.

I can do sache turns around a patron at will.

I can be right in front of an onlooker, and leap behind him or her in a flash of brilliance and grace.

I can have you believing I am in one dance, and be doing something completely different before you have time to understand what went on.

I can make you believe that new dances have been added, when it is really bits of the old dances combined in a new way.

So yes. I love to dance.

...And I love it because it is the most challenging class in the game.

And actually, everything in this game that is not social/community related is just pushing buttons.

Think about it.

Even social/community related stuff is just pushing buttons - the entire interface we use to interact with the game is a keyboard. So really, anyone who doesn't like pushing buttons probably won't own a computer in the first place

In defense of combat...you better darn push the buttons in the right order, at the right time, with the right weapon, and food, and buffs, and clothes......

There is an art to combat too.

That's right... even the functions of the social/community related stuff are done by just pushing buttons.

P.S. I love the dancing too. Especially having my pet(s) dance with me.

Not liking the dance but doing it anyway is like saying I'm only a TK because I like looking at dead things, but I don't like actually killing them. But I do it anyway.
