Thread: Stopgrowth command? Stunt creature growth? I know this was mentioned before?

There is supposed to be a way to stop the growth of a creature at 60%, or something like that. Meaning that it will stay at a level useable by a non CH as a mount, any of the mount critters are supposed to be able to have their growth "stunted" for non CH's.

Well.. of course there is nothing on this anywhere in patch notes. And nothing on it in the "Official Mounts Guide".

What's up with this command? Does it exist?

There has to be a way for us to stop all the mount creatures at a low enough level for non CH to use. As it is now, they might, once trained as a mount, grow to a certain level and stop. No way to know yet, as I just opened up all my bioengineered pets and "tamed" them today, so they're not even trainable as mount yet.

i found this yesterday with a giant carrion spat that i had kept in my droid from when that was possible, i moved the giant carrion spat from the droids datapad to my datapad and then tried to call it, i got a message saying that it is getting to big would i like to stop it growing, so i said yes and the creature is now around lvl9, it took a few minutes of waiting until i could train it as a mount, dont know why.

Cool.. that's kinda the way I guess. But it should be easier than that I hope. hehe At least you just confirmed there is a stop growth of some sort.

I had two giant carion spats - i called both of them - one i said yes to stunt - the other I said no - the one i said no to - could not be trained mount and the message never came back up again- i will try again after i log - but it looks like if they are already fullgrown - you get one shot to answer - yes to stunt growth - and thats all you get.

I did see some people yesterday train and ride full grown carion spat mounts. Im guessing they where full grown before the patch so they never got the option to stunt them.

I had 2 full grown spats in my datapad coming into the patch day.

When I first pulled them, it gave me the stunt growth option, even though full grown.

I said yes both times (just to be safe) and then at first it wouldn't let me train mount, but after i stored and recalled, it did.

probably some weird bug. the game is full of em!

I had a full grown brakaset going into patch day. I pulled it and received no offer to stunt it's growth. I made it a mount and it's still full grown. Some animals, like Giant Carrions, I guess you get the option to stunt and others you don't. Perhaps the Brackaset has no ridable level prior to 10 so no option to stunt for non-ch.

I have seen full grown Giant Spat mounts running around.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

ok i cant get my head around this there is 2 possibilities for this

#1 you can stop the "growth" of the critter meaning size of the larger critters so they dont look silly

or

#2 you can stop the pet gaining CL

i dont get which is correct any confirmation???

Still confusing..

I haven't had a chance to even log in today to play the game.. but there HAS to be a way to stop every creature at CL 10, so they can be traded to non CH.

Maybe they're implementing a way to stop ANY creature at CL10, rideable or not?Maybe they're implementing a way for CHdabblers with only like 2/2/0/0 to stop creatures at a level they can handle too, beforeit grows too big. That would be wicked. Everyone could have high levelcreatures, just at varying levels of stunted growth

Still hope we find out how to stop creatures at CL 10 with a command line or something.. The way I understand itthe ones in my datapad will grow up past that level, and I won't get that "stunt growth" option, as I'm master, so there'd be no need for me to stunt growth..
