Thread: How fast you hit to Master CH ?

I've done CH twice now. First time was on Ahazi. It was what I wanted to be from the time I started playing SWG. Was also still learning the game when I reached Novice, so it took me about 3 months to reach master. Then my husband and I decided to move to Bloodfin. I first made my char a swordsman/doctor. Kept her that way for a few months, then got bored with doctor and dropped it for ranger. Changed my mind about Ranger and decided to completely redo my template one last time to Teras Kasi/CH (which is ironically the exact template of the char I made on Ahazi when I first started playing hehe). This time, CH took me about 4 days total to reach master. I love CH, and I should have known that that is what I'd end up as when we first switched servers, but I had to try other professions, I guess.

Iv been grinding CH now about 30h and i am currently 4433.
How long it take when you hit the Master ?

if you keep at it....and have a good fighting proffesion....i would say somewhere around 2-3 days....depends on what you kill.
when i was grinding it....you got max xp for your creature hiting the othere creature not killing it or how much damage it did! if this is still true you could do what i did! i got mounts and went to the rancor feild and killed rancors. i had great pet stims well not great they healed about 1000 to every stat sence my pets i was useing only had 900 ham i was happy...thell the pets to attack a racor then to follow you...then kill the rancor

went ch from launch took me a month or two and i learned everything i needed to know from the experience
as we have seen on the forums recently we have many masters asking nooby questions lol
seems to be a spillover from other professions and my guess is if your in a hurry to be master ch you will move onto another profession rather quickly
nothing against anyone who plays in this manner its just my personal opinion that taking some time to learn from ones experience andenjoyment usually follows. grinding is work if you make it this way.
and not much fun lol

I mentored about 10 ch's and the grind depends on your dedication, I dont reccomend rushing into it Ive seen quite a few master ch's having problems that someone that takes the time to learn the profession never has so just take your time and enjoy the profession and the game.
To answer you question ive done ch twice "different servers" the first time i rushed through it and got it done in about 4-6 days the 2nd time i would grin every now and then and made it last about 3 weeks.

personally i think the devs "give peole what they want" to a degree....if they keep seeing how people want to grind , need to grind, love to grind...they give usthe village..i'm doing the fs mostly for mods..can't really imagine finishing it..it's not fun doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over...yet many do, so the devs keep giving us grinds..hey we must love it right..what could be more fun than doing ch in 30 straight hrs???..mabey they can convince the grinders to stay up for weeks and gring jedi..lol...dude they are laughing at you.(not you jopenack, the original inarticulate poser).lol..
i imagine a room full of devs, smoking cigarettes and pounding coffee saying "do you think these losers will REALLY master thier profession 228 times so they can carry a light stick????..man we are going to be rich...hahaha (evil laugh)"
ok i'm burning out on grinding.....had to vent

I was new, had no idea about macros, and did everything by way of hunting mokks on dant back when group hunting was in. took me about, hm, a month?

I know i could just play few weeks and get box at the time, but now when i am master and i was my first night hunting at dathomir i really enjoyed looking which babies i come a cross and taming them. 
Before i was master i affraid go to dathmoir, because if my luck is which it is normally is, i instantly would came across a bull rancor baby
This really seems to be profession for me

im actually enjoying my non-grind...i've been doing CH for 3 weeks now and i'm only 1212 and loving it. I have a friend who is doing CH on flurry the grinding method, he started 3 days ago and is 2223 now. Do i care? not really...cuz im in the most fun and rewarding profession in the game and im enjoying the long road to master
