I have been through every combination of looking for mount training information and when or how to train the CL65 varactyl from the ROTW quest. So far all I know is that they rodian is supposed to give you a second quest but he is ignoring me. I already cracked the egg and I sure as heck hope that that isn't the lame reason why I can't train it as a mount....do I have to wait till it is a certain size?? Please MCH's your my only hope

im having the same problem, mine is level 20 and i still cant tame her. Whats up with that? anyone?

Hi I am a new CH. I would like to get a CL65 varactyl and as I understand it, I need to do some quest to get to an egg. Could someone plz elaborate?

I've had no problem trianing my mount, I just got the egg, hatched it and trianed it. I had to wait for it to grow before I could turn it into a mount though.

Also you must have the Direct Download of ROTW to get the quest, if you don't have the direct download, you can't get the quest

Because of the relatively small size of the varactyl you need to wait till it's almost fully grown before you can train it as a mount. Mine was around cl50 by the time I could put a saddle on him.Just give it time.

If stupidity got us into this mess then why can't it get us out of it?

I don't need to hate people on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, nationality, or any of those other things. 30 seconds of conversation usually does the trick.

So if I have Total experience - I can't get the Varactyl?

Well first you need to have MCH status and then you need to have the digital download... i think but on the other hand you do need to wait till its almost fully grown to mount it

Correct.

If you have the Total Experience you get the BARC speeder and that's all. If you have the Digital Download you get the cl10 varactyl mount, PLUS you get the chance to get a cl65 varactyl if you're a MCH. Total Experience users can't get ANY varactyl unless they buy it. I got lucky and found the only egg on the vendor search (Infinity) for 1mil. Not bad considering the cl10 deeds go for 5-8mil.

As already said, wait for it to grow some and it'll mount just fine. Though personally, I'm using my CL10 one as a mount and leaving my CL65 one as an unmounted fighter.

My Ex-CH on Starsider has my CL-10 (He just aint right without some sort of pet) & my MCH on Natiris has the CL-65, I'm happy

You can get the CL10 Bolotaur mount which is usabl by all, quest starts on kashyyyk talk to the geonosian in cage (jail) near the big tree.

I found that out the hard way.

The Kicker is that i bought both TTE and the DD, one for each charactor.

But i didn't know about TTE (Or that you could ad it to an existing account whenI did hear about it)when I went to pre-order the DD, so i got the DD for my alt so she would have JTL and got the TTE for my MAIN (the MCH) when it came out.

HadI known then what i know now I would have done it in reverse.

Ah well, atleast my GF gets a lvl 65 Varactyl

Just found out you need the DD to get the lvl 65 varactyl gutted....

(anyone on Chimaera who dont need theirs, let me know!)
