I wish SOE was a litter more clear about this, but the Veractyl is an Exclusive to the Digital Download Edition, and the BARC Speeder is an Exclusive to The Total Experience. So if you want the Veractyl, you either have to buy one from a player or purchase the DD to get one.

Its debatable whether it's fair or not, I personally think it is because that would mean that anyone willing to be a MCH could get the DD exclusive creature, while there would be no second way for anyone to get the BARC Speeder.

I don't think excluding all from the mission was a good decision, I think that DD'ers should have had a choice of a Varactyl mount or some other Kashyyyk creature, while those with TTE would only be able to take the other kashyyyk creature.
