Creature Handler Archive

Im about to make a new Human char. I am going to be a Brawler (unarmed ONLY), Scout (for creature handler only), Teras kasi master, creature handler master then medic or maybe a little marksman.

What HAM gets drained for using pets? I need to know how much of which to set up!

action mainly.. if you tell it to play and use forage to feed it. other than that it doesnt take away..

Im a novice creature handler and i just got all of my first level skills through killing low level creatures outside of theed with my Bearded Jax which is a pretty small and weak animal. From each of these kills i get typically 70 CH exp. I also have a dewback that i tamed at roughly the same time as the jax but when i try killing anything with me my dewback i only get a single CH exp point.

My question is when or how can I start earning CH exp with my dewback? Will I have to spend many more hours of mind numbing boredom to get my second levels of CH skills or is there something that im missing?

You get CHexp based on the level of your pet vs. what your pet is fighting. If you have a pet that is CreatureLevel30 (Dewback) and are fighting newb mobs with a CL10 then you are only going to get 1xp. On the other hand your Jax is probably closer to CL14, therefore you get decent exp fighting the CL10 mobs.

If you want to get exp using the Dewback you'll have to fight what to you are red cons.

Is it true that someone who just made CH can by a gurreck for instance and use it having only taming 1. If so that is rediculous and needs to be fixed. Someone told me that he bought a gurreck and was using it with only taming one, was he for real or just pulling legs?
