I am a wookie CH. I have accomplished taming 3, management 3, and chreature training 2. I just recently tamed myself a gurreck and a arachnid webmaster. For some reason, now after the patch, i cannot call them out, and i tamed both of them. Why is this?

I would like an answer to this too. Supposedly I can tame a level 25, and can train a level 25, with my level 2 trees in taming and training.I tried to tame a greater sludge panther baby last night, level 21, and spammed the tame key. I never got to say the words I usually say when taming, such as "don't bite me", so I figured there is something I'm missing.

Can anyone tell me what it is, please?

Ok I got my CH Novice a day ago and I got my cu pa. Now my cu pa is good and all but i wanted something stronger.

Since I started with clvl15 max I got the exp for Domestication 1 which adds +10 to Max level of pets

Now I read on the other post that a Ronto is clvl 17.

Shouldnt I have a max of clvl 25 now?

I tried to tame a ronto and a bull ronto but it says "can nottame". What did I do wrong?

I have no idea if i got the wrong skill or what. Can anyone help?

Since the big patch, you are also limited to the total number of levels of pets you have, so I think you need training I (+10 to ttoal levels of pets), in addition to domestication. If 'Tame" is on your radial menu, then maybe you need to lose the cupa or something...

You need Taming 1 and Training 1 to be able to tame and control a level 17 pet. Note that even if you have training 1, you should technically be able to control a level 17 pet, you cannot call a pet you can't tame. So this forces you to have both Taming 1 and Training 1. If you had only Taming 1, you could tame it and control it while its growing but when it grows past level 15 you will no longer be able to call it until you get training 1.

I been grindign away xp with my 2 cu pas for what seems like ages now and is at 4-4-1-3.

I got a few days of work now and will most likly make master within the week.

My question is this. I am planing to start building my pet holding now and tame myself all the good combos of pets. Is htere anyting i cant tame with 4-4-1-3 ? (is a wookie).

Only ting i had while grinding, is my cpas and a wix, so i want to tame all the other big ones and have them grow while i get the remaining xp hehe

Yeah there's a lot of stuff you can't tame - anything over CL70 would be pointless.... try swgcenter.com they have a creature list there with CL, slightly out of date but a good general guide.

unless i missed someting then taming 4 and training 4 make me able to tame lwl 50 creatures, and we dont have anyting bether than that.

What I have to have to be able to handle pets and be able to use it in combat?
I mean what skills I have to have to be able to have pet that are strong enough to be like a tank to me
I heard about pet levels and stuff like that
Is needed to be novice ch?
What I do to gain more "pet levels"?
Or any1 can buy a pet and then use it?
Can any1 help me?

ok heres how it goes(for now the next patch might change all the rules)

all pets have a cl (creature level) now . they go from 1 to i think 50( i havent heard of higher)

you can have a cl 15 or down if you are not a ch but you need a ch to tame and train them for you

if you go ch then the cl you can tame and have out fighting for you goes up as you advance

the creature managment skill at level 3 allows you to have 2 pets out and master allows you to have 3, but you have to split your max cl level between them( can anyone say army of nunas lol)

you will need pet empaty one to heal your pets mind dmg and wounds with tricks

im not sure if pet stims are working im a medic i heal them my self

You needn't be a CH to use creatures at all. If you aren't a CH you can successfully use creatures CL 15 and below. Any one of which could act as a tank. But remember, these creatures are valuable. Use him to run interference for you, but keep good care of him. Heal him regularly.
