Nope, not at all. Since the Pet Nerf, I went Neutral, and only do PvE. Cause what is the use, if a Melee can take your poor rancor out in seconds, I mean, comeon, A RANCOR is meer seconds. So no, not gonna happen, only a fool would treat a pet that way. Or someone who cares not for the health of their little buddies.

They should make the whole prisoner dungeon/giant carnivore monster thing possable in the game that'd be so fun to set traps catch enemies and feed them helplessly to your kimo or rancor. Never gonna happen tho

It could be a city structure you now like they have cantinas and theaters, they have the rancor pit lol.

I use 1 kimo lvl 40 which i got for a gift and that I am not attached with for PvP.

The fight eighter goes like this.

Mindshot, Mindshot, Mindshot, Incap

Knockdown, knockdown, Incap

I wasn't even MCH yet, andmy friend who's a master TKA wanted to see how fast he could beat a rancor I had bought. It took like 10 seconds before the rancor was about three quarters dead. That's all it took to convince me that PvP with creatures is pointless.

I think we should start a petition to change the title Creature Handler to Animated Nerf Handler.

Heck, I don't even use pets for PvE much anymore, but I still love the thrill of the (rare) hunt!

I can't recall the last time I fought any pets in pvp. What is the current state of pets in pvp?

Pet duels are fun, and I use my pets against non-buffed players, but other than that they die to quickly.

New Wook City on Scylla had a wookiee armor giveaway to all wooks who fought in a big PvP match. When I pulled out my pets to help fight, the crowd was screaming to put them away. At least they give you a psychological edge. I told the crowd, you don't see me asking my opponent to put his weapons away do you?

Anyway, when the battle startedmy opponentran 1/2 way across town from my gurrecks before he realized they weren't hurting him that bad. I almost had him incapped from the distraction before he got me. It is fun to watch people run like sissies, even though if they faced you, it would be all over really fast. At least I have wookiee armor now and can last a couple more seconds.

I put my pet PvPing off until the combat rebalance. Fingers crossed that it will actually make a difference

i use my pets in PVP they are a definate force multiplier. i dont rely on them like some want to do i use them as a means of applying state effects and as a means of preventing kiting or a means of allowing me to gain distance as needed.

Created Account July 2003 - Canceled account Nov 2005. The NGE made me do it.
