Thread: How about an Old Fashioned Online Sit-In
The bug truly sucks but "lag-ins" are not the answer. I don't want see servers get all screwy every time some group gets it's feathers ruffled.
In my house, tantrumming children go to time-out. I wholly support suspending or banning all players inciting or participating in these kinds of actions.

So I should shut up and pay money for a game I cannot play then? So we MCH and CH should just be quiet and sit on the naughty step and not say anything, even though they have completely nerfed my profession. I'm a MCH and MCM so don't have a combat level I can fall back on. I'm unable to play solo, so that's me buggered.
This is not getting my feathers ruffled. This is a major problem with no word from the devs when this will be fixed. It's not a nice feeling. 
Well anyone who 1 account has this same problem and the thing is that getting the other proffesions to dislike, us will not help us and these players we would give lag to dont have any control over the situation so why punish them?

Might as well drop any idea like this because as a group, us players cannot even get together to have a 'Pi*s-up in a brewery', let alone come up with some form of action and collectively follow it through.

So all this hot air we blow is not going to affect them one bit.
Wake up, smell the roses and bend over.
I made a post yesterday that NO one as responded to ... that would have much more of a effect than this type of action.
Contact LUCAS ARTS directy an report the problem.
This way u are going above SOE head... they cannot do a thing about it ... an doing so brings the problems to people that really care.... after all this is Lucas Arts game NOT SOE. SOE just develops it for them.

I have seen these occur and on WoW. Even though i have generally agreed with the issues and supported the changes that were being protested for, all they did was impact the players wanting to use those areas of those servers. I had a night ruined by the wookiee protest here when friends of mine could not navigate through Theed due to lag and effectively had my server in accessable or unusable for a night on WoW when warriors decided to act up.
Email campaigns, bug reports, CSR calls are how it is done. In this case the call to protest was for an issue that was not even a day old. It was a known problem and they probably should have fixed it first but , I would rather they are given time to address it rather than manage a server meltdown by a bunch of whiners. When "lag-ins" become the way to bring about fixes, then we have to deal with more of them for smaller and smaller issues.

Actually I believe the issue was at least 10 days old as it was reported on TC the very first day.
