Email campaigns, bug reports, CSR calls are how it is done. In this case the call to protest was for an issue that was not even a day old. It was a known problem and they probably should have fixed it first but , I would rather they are given time to address it rather than manage a server meltdown by a bunch of whiners. When "lag-ins" become the way to bring about fixes, then we have to deal with more of them for smaller and smaller issues.

Actually I believe the issue was at least 10 days old as it was reported on TC the very first day.

Did you read the sentence that followed what you highlighted? It should not have gone live but the original poster seemed to be implying a "lag-in" should be held to force the fix. Protesting and mucking up a server to punish them for pushing it to live is usless and a live issue that is measured in hours is far too soon to be acting up and disrupting uninvolved players. How many next day hotfixes have you seen with past patches. Yes, it existed for 10 days but, bugs are allowed in TC.
My GF plays a MCH. Beleive when I say I am well aware of the frustrations involved. SOE screwed up, I agree but, "lag-ins" are wrong and should be punished so as they do not become the accepted form of bringing change. Rip them a new one in all communications with them, cancel your account, complain to LucasArts but don't further degrade the game for people who have no power over your issue.
