I got MCH a while ago, and recently started a pet collection. When I call my pets out to either display or sell, jerks always use /summon to take them away from me, and lead them into cantinas so I get reported. I conmtacted Customer Service and they told me they were not going to do anything about it. I contacted them again and they told me to post here of my opinion. People do it to be f*****s, and it's pissing me off. Who else is sick of this? Im sick of people harassing and getting me reported for something I did not do!

When you get them out, tell them to stay. They won't move.

I told them to stay. People went right up to them and used /summon, and my pets would follow them wherever/cantinas.

Basically, they're working on it. This is part of the /pet /hug stuff we got a couple of months ago. Vert has reported it to the proper authorities, I'm just hoping they only remove the /summon and /beckon...

maybe they could put a temp fix in where the offending summoner gets a tef and can be attacked by the creature and the creature's owner...or better yet a tef to every player in the game Reb, Neutral, Jedi, Imp. 300 players spamming headshot and melee head hits should end the summon garbage plenty quick. luckily i havent had my creatures summoned yet but i was in line to be buffed and jack-offs were summon'ing the docs med robot repeatedly and the doc finally gave up storing and recalling and just stopped buffing before i got to get mine. if only there wasa way for me to sick a rancor on that schmuck and then bomb him with eyeshots i'd have been one happy camper. i say again, if they cant fix summon quick, then temp fix it by tef'ing the offending summon'ers.

It happened again, I cant even sell my non-ch pets to anyone anymore without them being ganked from me. i submitted a ticket, didnt work. that was last time. I went to live chat, they wouldn't help. So I have created my final ticket. If I ge a Bull**** response, Im not only quitting Creature Handler, Im quitting SWG. Im tired of receiving poor service from SOE and belonging to a harassing community full of immature 12 year old who use mommys credit card. I've had ENOUGH with this d*** bug. Ive about had it.

Tried several times but non of my pets would listen to others /summon commands. No clue why

actualy i find summon very handy when some prat has blocked the ticket droid or a mission terminal .. And no stay dosn't actualy work against summon so my advice is stop being a show off.

Thats right I one stared ya. Summon is a grieving command and if you are using it to overcome someone else's griefing then you are as guilty as they are. There is nothing useful about a command that steals someone else's property. I've now seen it done to docs andentertainers using their droids for valid purposes. I've never seen it done in a starport to some item blocking the ticket guy. Blocking the ticket taker doesn't even prevent a person from traveling so although lame it does no damage. Stealing someone else's property and interupting their game play is not only damaging but a classic case of what griefing describes.

cant you just open your datapad and store your pet as soon as some childish 12 yr old "uber1337 haXXor dewd" /summons your pet??
I know its not the best solution but try not taking your pets out in the big cities at least until there is a fix. cancelingyour account because of this is only giving in to the little pimple factories.

Greetings,
Last night was the first time I had this happen to me. I was in Coronet, but quite a ways a ways from the starport. I was training a pet for a friend when someonewith a string of pets, and droids following him comes up and starts summoning the baby away. He was obviously using a macro with how quickly he could spam the command. Apparently, he intended to grief people in this manner often.
At this point I was pretty upset. So much so, I had forgotten the pet was in my possession. I asked my friend to store the baby a few times. Of course he couldn't. It dawned on my why, and I stored it via the datapad. I called him a few choice names, and he apologized, saying he was bored. He quickly left the pets and droids near where I was and quickly made his departure.
All I have to say is:Grrr!
Good luck to All,

A much better solution to the problem is that the person who griefs our pets loses all his other combat professions until we call our pet off of him. HAHA or worse is instantly turned into a master CH losing all other professions until we decide to re-call our pet. And it is still in effect if he logs off and logs on.
YES I SEE THE SOLUTION.
