Just made MCH/MBH/CM 4000 so now for me to answer my own question.I use my 3 panthers to hunt my NPC marks.Even with the new pub 24 still using them.Seem to get 80-120 dam from them and I add my probot in there for another 75-100 and i do a very good job.Going to work on my Narglatch femailes latter this weekend.

My preferred at the moment is a level 70 kimogilia I use him for tanking npc marks he converted very well with 8400 health and a high dps along with effective armor.

You need to have combat medic ranged healing 4. Being a ch means you can really get the most out of this skill in bacta spray. Pets are good but anyother mod you get will not translate to a pet as effectively as healing. If you get more hitting power it really dosent help your pet if you get better defense really no good for your pet. Healing both you and your pet at the same time priceless.

I have a BE-CL 70,Kima 8,7k h, 415 dmg. Abilities:aggression L1, lightning reflexes L3, Thick skin L3. It stands to my waist and is a GREAT tank. So far it's been able to tank everything I've thrown at it.

I've got a level 69 gaping spider hunter, pre pub 21, who does a great job of pulling and holding aggro, at least for a while.

I use a Kinad Bas Nitch level 69 for tanking against single targets. He has Aggression L2 to hold aggro. His size doesn't obscure my target. He does, however, gets obscurred by targets far larger than he is.

I have recently discovered myBlood Seeker Mite Queen*(Level 65?) is great for Mobs. She tanks, has an area combo attack that is blind, stun and dizzy! She came with Hunted Withdrawal L3 so she ends up with angry groupies that dont attack (I thought because of all the state effects she slapped on them). I unwittingly added Aggression L2 to her which contradicts the Hunted Withdrawal ability. Despite this development, serendipity blesses her with holding aggro and reducing the hate. Go figure.

*Corrections.

One thing I have been doing with NPC marks, and it's a winner about 75% of the time, is to have two pets out, one a level 60ish special grinding pet, just to do damage and get XP and the other my trusty little CL 1 gnort of death, who has KD, intim, and precision strike.

The sole purpose of the gnort is to lay on the intim state I don't have as a BH, and to do the KD work so I don't have to. Long term, I'm thinking the gnort might have the bleed on him, too, or another offensive special to increase odds of landing the state. That way I can conserve my action bar and concentrate on doing damage, recovering from KDs, and self healing.

If the mark doesn't have an AOE attack, the gnort does too little damage to ever get any attention from the mark, and will stay in there and lands intim about 1 in every 4 times, and KDs remarkably consistenly.

If the mark does AOE, the gnort incaps the first time around, he's got next to no HAM. So I have to carry on without the little guy.

Of course, against players, who have their heads together, this will probably not work. You have to hope that the target, be it a Jedi or someone you're dueling or whoever you're focusing on in a PvP battle does not have their wits about them and allows the pets to become their focus. I am a rank amateur at PvP, but with pets out, I've been able to take down experienced PvPers who allowed themselves to get rattled. Three angry critters (particularly the cats with their animations) can have a psychological impact that gives you the opening to defeat your opponent.

MY best pet is a Guf Drolg, but im not MCH MBH.

i have a few questions for those who are.

-can you shoot or attack while riding a creature mount?

-if i mastered BH and CH how many more skill trees would i have room for?

-how helpful is it to have the 4000 CM tree

-how helpful is it (for CH and BH both) to have the tracking tree in ranger (finds creatures and humans)

-which is more important for CH/BH: ranger or CM

-how can you sell pets on a merchant?

-what does a creature habitat do?

To the OP:

I use a CL70 BE Kimo with a natural 9k health and 385 max damage I found on the vendorsearch.
It is now fully trained with vigorous health L3, Thick Skin L3, Lightning Reflexes L2 and Aggression L1. With Embolden he actually has over 12k health, and no matter how much I heal/shoot, I simply cannot draw aggro off him.
Together with a probot, he can kill elite CL82 BH marks without my help, though it takes a while, 2-3 min.

To the poster above me:

-no, that ability was canceled by the CU, no idea why the mount still slows down for combat, and I am willing to bet the devs don't know either
-not quite sure, check a skill builder, but it is enough for 4000 CM (my temp)
-very helpful, I cannot imagine any other skill that would compliment that temp more. Using the above Kimo, I can have him tank up to Canyon Krayts, would not be possible without heavy healing (using a medical droid and stim enhancers)
-since only creatures 500m around the CHs position are actually spawned and I can see those on the radar, I have so far failed to see any usefulness in this skill, maybe someone else can enlighten me.
-my vote goes for CM
-you cannot as a CH, only unused BE pets can be sold on vendors
-never heard of that, what is it?

Creature habitat isa little item created by artisan ( master if I remenred well ) with some loot like insect or else found in the lair.

A Creature habitat when used will free a swarm of little bugs, fly or butterflies ^^ depends on the loot.

I'm a mbh/mch/cm4000 and i use 3 BE lvl23 kwi. They work great against npc for the dps and even against jedi as the jedi usually are more focused on me or evading me that they can drop intim, bleeds, kd, etc. Also a wonderful trick is the fact that pets will still follow a jedi who pulls away and cloakes. Just follow your pets who are following the jedi and their force drops very rapidly. If no one knows, the more ppl who are in close proximity to a jedi who is cloaked the more force it uses to remain cloaked. 3pets +1 mbh, force melts away and you are left with a jedi uncloaked dangerously low on force. Just keep yourself and the pets healed with the bacta spray in the first half while you are wearing them down and the rest is just pumping them full of energy bolts.

A word of caution though, a master defender will laugh at your 3 pets and take you out. You'll need a different strategy with them. But i'll take multiple pets over a single one anyday since the great cu pet nerf.

They say you should never hit a person with a closed fist, but on occasion it can be hillaroius.
