Thread: Lowest Level pets with powers??

Hope this hasnt been asked before, but to aid quick learning of powers
What are the lowest combat level pet types, that give a range of powers please ??
The pet specials thread says which pets, but there are no cl's listed and as you all know the high level ones take ages to gain maturity levels. I am looking for some cl 1-5 throwaway pets whose powers I can steal and then teach to my big guns please.

I have a Shauput Hunter, CL 23, from naboo. He came withImperling Feint L1. That is the lowest I have seen so far.

You can find creatures all the way down to cl1 with specials. Kreetles specifically come to mind. SWGCreatures.com is a great reference to check these out.

I already have a Carnivourous Nuna( cl13)with Eye Gouge L1, but I wondered if there were any really low level pets with specials ??

Well, you could use the special ability list and check the CL on swgcreatures.com. It looks like they're slowly integrating the pub 21 special abilities into their database, so you could also use that as reference.
Depending on the ability, you can find a lot of low-CL creatures that potentially have the specials you want. Although it seems that the lower the CL, the less likely a particular tame will have an ability. So while you can get Marring Storm L1 from a CL2 Flesh Eating Chuba or Hamstring L1 from a CL5 spineflap, you may have to tame and release more creatures before actually finding one with the ability. Plus, the lower CL creatures have only the lower level versions, but you'll need those anyway to be able to teach the advanced versions.

Unfortunately, swgcreatures.com doesn't list the level of the special ability. So considering the wide CL variance its really not much help. 
And I just tamed a CL1 Kreetle with thick skin L1.

I tamed a CL2 paralope with eye gouge, and a CL2~I think~horned krevol with thick skin.

CL2 Capper spineflap with Knockdown L1. One of the first things I tamed after getting Novice over the weekend.

Unfortunately, swgcreatures.com doesn't list the level of the special ability. So considering the wide CL variance its really not much help.
It is fairly safe to assume that anything CL 40-ish and under only gives L1 specials. CL 65+ will have a good chance of L3. Around the 50's and 60's you have L2.
L2 will probably be the hardest to pin down as we can assume at either extreme we are getting the L1 or L3 specials.

lowest lvl for any lvl one ability is CL 1, however these are very uncommon finds, you can easily tame 20+ pets with no ability. The are there, I have tamed numerious kreetles in an effort to get hold of thick skin 1. Again I done the same with flewts on naboo to get hamstring and fleet footed.
Lvl 2 abilities I have not seen on anything lower than CL 40, Lvl 3 on anything lower than CL 60.

when i started directly after the publish i spend some time on naboo in the wild (swamps east of Keren). i found lots of low level creatures (CL1 - 5 krevols, hermit spiders, gnorts and some others) with abilities. i spend 3 or 4 hours in the swamps taming and fighting with the low levels. i must have learned 8 to 10 Level 1 abilities in that time.

my first ability was from a cl 1 kreetle, i think it was defensive stance.
