How do you find these guys!?

I have been searching all over Corellia and Talus for TWO DAYS now! I still haven't found a baby Grand Wrix...

If you have a Grand Wrix, do you have any tips on finding them?

I've only seen 2 babies ever and I've been playing on Corellia since launch

One was north of Coronet and the other North of Tyrena.

I found mine while running between Coronet and the Rebel-only PvP battleground east of there. The battleground is about 3k east of coronet. About halfway between town and the battleground there were tons of wrix lairs, and I managed to find one that had no mottled wrixes guarding it AND a grand wrix baby.I wasn't even looking for one but you bet your britches I freed up a creature storage slot to pick it up.

I used to see them all the time, until I became a creature handler. I haven't seen one again after that... I used to see them at almost every other Wrix lair.

Just trained one about 2 hours ago.. And it was a blast..

Took 45 mins of crawlin around.. Bobbin in and out.. And finally I was able to pull the baby out from all the aggro Mottled Wrix's.. 8 Attempts to train and I ran away in victory

I found the lair traveling east from tyrena along the river bank about 3000m out of town.

Wooot !! now time to watch em grow

Southeast of Doeba Guerfel i found a lair ..grabbed one out of there. Only about 5-10 minutes from the city.

I find the most cats following the river north of Kor Vella on Corellia. The grand wrix baby is still rare but I have seen 3 or 4 out there in the past 4 or 5 days.

I've trained 2 or 3 of them, seen quite a few. I just run from city to city taming every baby I can find. The last one I saw didn't have any mottled wrix's around (Except for a baby, which attacked me as did the 3 mature Grand Wrix's...I didn't last very long). This was only about 1200 m north of Corellia. I tried to run back to tame that mottled wrix after cloning, but it grew and was an adult by the time I got out there grrrrrr

The most Wrix pride's I've seen were on a run I made from Coronet to the North eastern town (can never remember it's name). I was out for a breath of fresh air after getting burned out doing destroy missions and basically used a way point but wandered a bit along the way. Along the ay I was lucky enough to find a pride were the Mottled Wrix guardian had gotten lax and was on the far side of the camp from the baby.

By the way, just in case in you didn't know this, Wrix's come in mixed prides and you can find Grand Wrix babies in a pride with ordinary Wrix parents so check them all to be sure.

I got my 2 grand wrixes within 5 mins of each other. 2 different lairs right next to each other, trained them both on the 2nd try. I also have 2 mottled wrixes and I can tell you they were TOUGH to get lol. I died a total of 12 times getting the pair on 2 different days. They like to attack you if you fail to train them, which in turn gets the entire pack on you and they are faster then burst run hehe.

I have run from Kor Vella (sp?) to Coronet 2 times, both times I encountered a Grand Wrix baby along with its pride. The first time the Mottled andDerangedWrixs' tore me to pieces the second I took a good 45 minutes of moving around and avoiding them before I could grab the prized animal. I think their spawns are sheer luck, and hopefully yours will improve and you will get one

My harvestors are about dead center between kor vella and coronet so i run back and forth all the time, Ive seen 2 , died both times. Mottled wrixs are mean.

I finally got mine today. Took me probably around 8 tries, and there was a Mottled Wrix guarding the lair. In the middle of it all was me trying to tame it, and I never even noticed my mask scent went down. So here I am in the midst of all these and the Mottled about 20m away. I finally succeed and then the Mottled Aggros me. My burst run not regen'd yet (wouldn't have mattered anyway) I just ran and tried to warning shot most away. I get incapped but fortunately not death blowed. It was quite an adrenaline rush. I love it .
